Wow, I forgot that Natures were a thing O_O

I have them hidden because I basically spazzed out when I saw that you could hide certain info, makes users look less cluttered when you pick and choose. I think the only things I hid were the post counts and the natures.

What really bothers me about that screenie is that there's nothing betwen the username and the postbit on the right. For me, I'm such a stalker. There needs to be stuff under the username and avatar. I don't know...it's probably something I'm used to for the three years I've been here.

If the gap was just a liiiittle wider between the username and userbar when there is no usertitle I would be okay with it. Then again I don't even have the userbar images on anymore just the text. So the only thing in my post bit that is an image is the avatar and the stuff at the bottom like the online button and so forth.

So basically in my posts I have three lines of text, an avatar, and then two-four images at the bottom.

I have never tried the text ranks.. maybe I should see what they look like. XD I know the h-staff used to do it for the heck of it, and it looked nice when they did. I think that PC's userbars look at a little awkward for some reason, anyway.

You look a little bit odd.

Nope, not me. I'm used to having things under their names/usertitles. /weird

Although Drakow looks a little odd since his name is not green and makes it seem like he's not a supporter (when using text ranks) xD

I dont like the text ranks, so I'll just keep the userbar, it just looks nicer. I like my postbit the way it is pretty much.

Why thank you sir. <3

But yeah, the non-supporter username formatting would definitely throw me off if I had rank images hidden. I really like the way an unformatted username looks with the supporter userbar, though!

I was thinking how weird my name would look unformatted with a Supporter's userbar, I do prefer the italics since it is easier to notice Supporters that way. Although I do find it weird a Supporter's rank display in text form says "Community Supporter Tier X" (with the X instead being replaced with the corresponding tier number so mine would say Community Supporter Tier 5 for example) rather than "CSX".

Speaking of this, I wonder if anyone remembers that time last month when Audy was testing a new username formatting system by having tags alongside all staff and supporters' usernames? Staff had either "mod", "smod" or "admin" tags colored blue, orange and red respectively while Supporters had "CS1", "CS2", "CS3", "CS4", "CS5" etc. however Tier 6 had "CS★" instead of something like "CS6" which sorta made me crack up, they all had their obvious green color. It didn't work out though because it took up space on profile visitor lists and the online list.

I once tried text display, but I knew it would look weird from my view.

I have userbars and texts completely turned off now and I love it. Sure, the text line looked much better than the chunky, tacky (imo) userbar images, but having the colored/bolded/italicized names alone works best imo. At least for people who know what they mean and don't need the userbars to tell any longer.

Spoiler:

I'd rather have formatted usernames to denote rank, than colors. If we ever came to a choice. Bold names for mods, bold+italics for admins and italics for supporters. That way you could state in the rules "mods can be recognized as the ones with BOLDED usernames". Simple as that. I guess a little rank image like the ones Audy played around with would be necessary, but I'd rather have it up to the right side of the postbit (not talking Legacy now, obv) than next to the name. Imo that's visible enough. :>

But colors are still smexy, I suppose. It's not like I dislike having a blue name, or disliked having a green name. :>:>
