Having been here posting practically every day since joining, it feels odd to miss a whole day without posting a single thing yesterday D: I was playing Final Fantasy X and trying to get their ultimate weapons for nearly 12 hours XD

Seeing this on the first page of my posts makes me sad.

Spoiler:

:( Usually there's never posts from a week ago there. It's usually all posts from a day or 2 ago on the first page. It's been ages since it's been like that actually. School keeps me so busy honestly.

Thank god I didn't join PC when I was still in school. I had to go quite long distances to go to school and that would have meant not as much time on PC compared to when I actually ended up joining.

Everything for me would have been different if I joined PC during high school, but I didn't have much access to a computer during then (couldn't afford one during the time, was living with a single parent). I wouldn't be in this situation where I'm graduating college and all that. xD

I joined PC when I was sixteen. My parents didn't really care or worry about what I got myself into. Mainly because they knew I was careful. I wish I would have joined when I was at a more mature level. I made a lot of mistakes here that I still regret. D:

Even though I joined PC last month, it was not my first experience with a Pokemon themed forums. My first experience occurred back on August 2nd 2009, when I joined an incarnation of Super Skarmory Forums. Course during that incarnation, I went by Mandolore Great. Then five years and a few name changes later, I join here.

PC wasn't my first forum or my first internet home... but it's been my longest one. I mean I'm in this weird time when I don't... really think it's my home right now? But I think I might be coming back to it. I dunno.

It's weird to think of anything else as my "home" on the internet, though, since I've been on PC since before high school and I'm well into university. (Should be done by now, lmao, but ehh.)

Bulbagarden was actually my first forum, but I left around a week after joining due to being a victim of mod power abuse. When I joined here I thought I'd never end up becoming much of an active poster, but the odds proved me wrong.

I've been to 1 or 2 forums before PC, and PC is my first Pokemon forum. I branched out in others (and modded in another Pokemon forum), but I always stayed here.

There are a few Pokémon forums I visited, like Smogon and the old PokéRealm, but the latter eventually died out. And even before then there were two I joined that weren't Pokémon related, I wasn't exactly the best person on them. In 2007-2012 before joining Marriland, my hangouts were in whatever my biggest interest was at the time. Then I joined Marriland at the end of summer 2012, and joined PC last August.

PC is my first and only forum I am on. I just cannot be active in more than 1 forum for some reason haha.

I was a member of a bunch of forums when I was in middle school...but the people where so hateful on there. I love it here, and I'm happy to be in a much friendlier environment

First forum I ever joined was one relating to Megaman, if I remember correctly; was deeply into the franchise back then. Few months later, I discovered ROM hacking, which lead me finding this place so that I could download some resources. Never got to finish off the hack, though, as I lost motivation mid-way through. Next, I joined another Pokémon forum known as Pokémon Elite 2000. It started to die off soon after, unfortunately, and so I needed a new place to hang out. Due to that, I eventually decided to come back to PC. d:

The friendly environment and the friendly members is what keeps me here, tbh. I go to other communities and it just doesn't have the same friendly atmosphere as PC's.
