-Gastrodon w/Leftovers
Nature: Relaxed
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Defense, 4 Sp.Defense
Moves: Scald, Earthquake, Toxic, Recover

Fire Blast and Earth Power are nothing to worry about:
252 SpA Heatran Fire Blast vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Gastrodon: 105-125 (24.6 - 29.3%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Heatran Earth Power vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Gastrodon: 116-137 (27.2 - 32.1%) -- 54.5% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Then EQ is a clean OHKO.

Mantine with Expert Belt
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 4 Sp.Defense
Moves: Bullet Seed, Rest, Sleep Talk, Bounce

Gastrodon's only option against Mantine is Toxic, which Mantine can rest away. Any opportunity to use Bullet Seed that hits more than twice will result in not really sustainable damage to gastrodon -

252+ Atk Expert Belt Mantine Bullet Seed (3 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gastrodon: 201-246 (47.1 - 57.7%) -- approx. 16.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Expert Belt Mantine Bullet Seed (4 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gastrodon: 268-328 (62.9 - 76.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252+ Atk Expert Belt Mantine Bullet Seed (5 hits) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Gastrodon: 335-410 (78.6 - 96.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Why anyone would ever use that is beyond me

For example you are hard countered by Magnemite

[PokeCommunity.com] Counter that Pokemon! (READ THE FREAKING FIRST POST)

Magnemite @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP / 252 SpA / 84 Spe
Modest Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hidden Power Fire
- Flash Cannon
- Thunderbolt

252+ Atk Mantine Bounce vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Magnemite: 25-30 (10.6 - 12.8%) -- possible 8HKO

252+ Atk Mantine Bullet Seed (3 hits) vs. 172 HP / 0 Def Magnemite: 30-36 (12.8 - 15.3%) -- possible 7HKO

252+ SpA Choice Specs Magnemite Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Mantine: 580-688 (173.6 - 205.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Rotom-Heat @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Overheat
- Volt Switch
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split

Can't stand the heat then get outta the kitchen imo

76 Atk Life Orb Electivire Cross Chop vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-H: 82-97 (26.9 - 31.9%) -- 42.9% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Ill burn u and it does less lol

252+ SpA Life Orb Electivire Thunderbolt vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Rotom-H: 79-94 (25.9 - 30.9%) -- 7.6% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

lol

0 SpA Rotom-H Overheat vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Electivire: 186-220 (63.9 - 75.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Tyrannosaurus rekt

Scizor @ Choice Band
Ability: Technician
EVs: 248 HP / 100 Atk / 68 Def / 84 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Bullet Punch
- U-Turn
- Knock Off
- Superpower

Barely survives a 2HKO while threatening with a 1HKO Superpower.
Also don't use this in a real fight, because that EV spread probably sucks :P

Hi. This is dog. You may not remember dog, but dog remembers you. Dog remembers how you always shoved him into a lower tier to use "better" fire types like Mega Charizard and Heatran. However, dog is not mad. Dog doesn't care. Dog is just here to show you that he isn't worthless. But how? Well, Dog will counter your red mantis crab thing.

Arcanine @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Morning Sun
- Toxic
- Flare Blitz
- Roar

-1 100+ Atk Choice Band Scizor Knock Off (97.5 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Arcanine: 86-102 (22.4 - 26.6%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

-1 100+ Atk Choice Band Scizor Superpower vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Arcanine: 107-126 (27.9 - 32.8%) -- 85.8% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

8 Atk Arcanine Flare Blitz vs. 248 HP / 68 Def Scizor: 528-624 (153.9 - 181.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Dog may lose his leftovers, but dog doesn't care that much. You shoud be using dog with Rapid Spin or Defog support anyways, so that dog doesn't get shanked by Stealth Rock.

Goodra@Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 248 HP/8 SpA/252 Sp Def
Quiet Nature

Moves:
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Sludge Bomb
Dragon Tail

252+ SpA Kingdra Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Goodra: 150-176 (39.1 - 45.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ SpA Kingdra Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Goodra: 31-37 (8 - 9.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever

8+ SpA Goodra Draco Meteor vs. 64 HP / 0 SpD Kingdra: 350-414 (114 - 134.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Welcome to your personal hell Kingdra, because there's no turning back now.

Why anyone would ever use that is beyond me

For example you are hard countered by Magnemite

Heh, well I wouldn't use that set personally, but please allow me to amicably explain why I posted that pokemon and set. ^^ a) It does in fact, serve as a counter to the last pokemon. Very well. b) This thread is a battling & team building section game if I'm not mistaken, and it doesn't break any of the rules in the OP. c) Most importantly, by posting some oddball like that that hasn't been used before, I both give the opportunity to and encourage the next poster to use something of the same ilk that also hasn't been used yet; ie not just a landorus, scizor, garchomp, heatran - etc. So the thread doesn't go in circles or get too full of the same pokemon over and over again.

And hey, it worked :D You used Magnemite. So yaaaay.

Sadly I'm too tired right now to follow suit, so I'll be lazy and just use azumarill to counter Kingdra. Goodra.

Azumarill w/ Assault Vest
Ability: Huge Power (I'll never understand where 'trait' came from)
EV's: 252 Atk, 252 Sp Def, 6 HP
Adamant Nature

Play Rough, Waterfall, Superpower, Aqua Jet.

Goodra's sludge bomb does like 1/3 Azu's health at best I'd wager, and Play Rough I'm fairly certain is an oh no ko

EDIT: I guess man. Magnemite was more of an example of how that set wouldn't work against anything than me trying to be different lol.

[PokeCommunity.com] Counter that Pokemon! (READ THE FREAKING FIRST POST)

Venusaur @ Venusaurite
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
Bold Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Synthesis
- Hidden Power Fire

Hard walled and Venu will outlast Azu even with the Vest of Tears on

(Hey that's still cool, it was definitely the first time magnemite made it in here anyways :D )

To deal with Megasaur

Modest Delphox with an assault vest.

252 Sp Atk, 252 Sp Def 6 HP.
I wanted to say Mystical Fire, but the damage calculator doesn't even recognize Mystical Fire. :L So Psychic I guess. It does unsustainable damage to that mega venusaur, dealing 69.7 - 82.4% each time. Synthesis or not, venusaur can't wall that, and delphox outspeeds it as is. Venu can't get even a 4hko with sludge bomb either.

Goodra@Assault Vest
Ability: Sap Sipper
EVs: 248 HP/8 SpA/252 Sp Def
Quiet Nature

Moves:
Draco Meteor
Fire Blast
Sludge Bomb
Dragon Tail

252+ SpA Kingdra Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Goodra: 150-176 (39.1 - 45.9%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

252+ SpA Kingdra Hydro Pump vs. 248 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Goodra: 31-37 (8 - 9.6%) -- possibly the worst move ever

8+ SpA Goodra Draco Meteor vs. 64 HP / 0 SpD Kingdra: 350-414 (114 - 134.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Welcome to your personal hell Kingdra, because there's no turning back now.

I dont want to rain into your parade but..

252+ SpA Sniper Kingdra Draco Meteor vs. 248 HP / 252 SpD Assault Vest Goodra on a critical hit: 333-396 (86.9 - 103.3%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO

Focus Energy and Scope Lens always secure a guaranteed crit, so Goodra is not a reliable counter or check.

Anyway

Mega Tyranitar
Nature Jolly
EV Spread: 252 atk, 252 spe, 6 hp

Moves: Stone Edge, Crunch, Dragon Dance, Fire Punch

252+ SpA Delphox Grass Knot (120 BP) vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Mega Tyranitar in Sand: 150-178 (43.9 - 52.1%) -- 14.1% chance to 2HKO

Crunch OHKOs. Mega T-tar is also faster because Delphox isn't running max speed.

[PokeCommunity.com] Counter that Pokemon! (READ THE FREAKING FIRST POST)

Greninja@ Life orb
Nature: Timid
Abillity: Protean
EV's: 252 Spe / 252 Atk.Sp / 4 Hp

Is faster than Terrakion
Hydro Pump Is a OHKO
Extrasensory haves 81.3% chance to OHKO
Ice beam is a 2HKO
Problem with that is that Greninja can't switch into any of Terrakion's attacks, so it's a check, not a counter. Close Combat and X-Scissor would destroy it even without the Choice Band, and Stone Edge and Earthquake kill it with the Band.

Uh, also, what's the 4th move? I'll just assume HP Fire for this.

Countering Greninja:

[PokeCommunity.com] Counter that Pokemon! (READ THE FREAKING FIRST POST)

-Mega Gyarados w/Gyaradosite
Nature: Adamant
Ability: Mold Breaker
EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 Defense
Moves: Waterfall, Ice Fang, Earthquake, Dragon Dance

None of Greninja's moves is better than a 4HKO, which then let's MegaDos set up a Dragon Dance and destroy.

Talonflame Female Fire/Fly
EV:6HP/252Atk/252Spd
IV:31/31/31/xx/31/31
Ability: Gale Wings
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic: Somewhat Vain
Item: Life Orb
Moves: Brave Bird
Flare Blitz
U-turn
Roost

Gale Wings gives priority to Brave Bird. Life Orb, plus STAB, plus Mega Heracross' 4x weakness to Flying-type moves. sorry man.

Talonflame Female Fire/Fly
EV:6HP/252Atk/252Spd
IV:31/31/31/xx/31/31
Ability: Gale Wings
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic: Somewhat Vain
Item: Life Orb
Moves: Brave Bird
Flare Blitz
U-turn
Roost

Gale Wings gives priority to Brave Bird. Life Orb, plus STAB, plus Mega Heracross' 4x weakness to Flying-type moves. sorry man.
Not a counter. Talonflame can't switch into Rock Blast, making it a check at best. Read here.

Anyway:

Heatran
[PokeCommunity.com] Counter that Pokemon! (READ THE FREAKING FIRST POST)

-Fire Blast
-Flash Cannon
-Earth Power
-Stone Edge
Nature: Modest
EVs: 12 HP/252 SAtk/244 Spe
Item: Choice Scarf

Doesn't care about anything Talonflame does and OHKOes Talonflame with Stone Edge, even with a -Attack nature.

Garchomp@Choice Scarf
Nature: Naive
EVs: 4 Special Attack/252 Attack/252 Speed

Moves:
Outrage
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Fire Blast

252+ SpA Heatran Flash Cannon vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Garchomp: 184-217 (51.5 - 60.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 Atk Garchomp Earthquake vs. 12 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 624-736 (191.4 - 225.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO

Garchomp comes in and takes a Flash Cannon on the first turn, and outspeeds and OHKOs Heatran on the next turn.

Ok.... I had a hard time to find a counter. But let's say, If Gyarados doesn't set the DD?

[PokeCommunity.com] Counter that Pokemon! (READ THE FREAKING FIRST POST)

Heracross Mega @ Heracronite
Ability: Skill link
Nature: Jolly
EV's: 252 Atk/ 252 Spe/ 4 Hp

Ok. It's able to tank all moves without DD (Waterfall haves 70% of 2HKO). With jolly nature, It's faster than Gyarados.
Close combat is a OHKO
Pin missile is a OHKO
Earthquake is a 2HKO
Rock blast is a 2HKO

Yeah so the bold just stated why it ISNT a counter so i mean lol.

As for ScarfChomp

Slowbro@Leftovers
252 HP / 252 Def / 6 Sp.Def
Bold Nature
IVS: 0 Attack
Trait: Regenerator
- Slack Off
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Psyshock

Comes in, takes the hit and recovers and uses you as set up fodder.

Tangrowth@Life Orb
EVs: 132 HP/252 Special Attack/124 Speed

Moves:
Leaf Storm/Giga Drain
Focus Blast
Ancient Power
Sleep Powder

Poor, Poor Tangrowth almost everyone has forgotten about him/her. Anyways...

0 SpA Slowbro Scald vs. 132 HP / 0 SpD Tangrowth: 75-88 (20 - 23.5%) -- guaranteed 5HKO

0 SpA Slowbro Psyshock vs. 132 HP / 0 Def Tangrowth: 72-85 (19.2 - 22.7%) -- possible 5HKO

252+ SpA Life Orb Tangrowth Leaf Storm vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Slowbro: 647-764 (164.2 - 193.9%) -- guaranteed OHKO

252+ SpA Life Orb Tangrowth Giga Drain vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Slowbro: 374-439 (94.9 - 111.4%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

Slowbro goes down hard to Tangrowth who can not only switch in safely but also hit Slowbro back much harder on the next turn, and OHKO him/her with leaf storm or potentially put him/her to sleep with sleep powder and OHKO him with Giga Drain.
