In here we had 4 quarters in 1 year, each "quarter" lasting about 2 to 2 and half months. We'd have a midterm each 2 "quarters," though.

That's exactly how it was here.. 36 weeks of school, 18 per semester, and 9 per quarter, with exams taking place in the last week of both the second and fourth quarters.
 
I have kind of like that too. I take courses, and most courses are half a term long (2-2.5 months) and after that you take an exam in that course. Some stretch over the whole term though. I'm rather lucky to only have one exam after this period.
 
Exams in school, I could never do it in a big echo-ey room, I had to do it in an isolated room. There was only one other person in that room besides me, for which it was a lot better.
 
In Australia, we have the usual 4 terms a year. However, given I had "special needs" I never had to undergo taking exams when it came to those big end-of-school things. Having autism/Aspergers impacted on my learning skills a lot, and that's why most schools I went to catered towards students with special needs. Heck I even went to three different primary schools, one of which was specifically for students with autism.
 
I'm gone to focus on my midterms/exams (that did not go so well) and I come back for a second to find this place dead for more than 12 hours.

I am disappoint.
 
I'm sorry Vertigo, hopefully that didn't go too badly. I had to revise one of my previous essays last week for double the points and I'm anxiously waiting the results on that.

On another note, I was practicing one of my dance moves when I toppled over and landed on my music stand. Don't worry, I'm fine and I was able to bend my stand back into shape. XD
 
Not surprising that DCC is inactive, everybody's into the new Pokemon game.

I was supposed to study over the weekend for an exam midweek, but Pokemon Y ruined that. Guess I'll have to catch up next two days.
 
I should be studying :x It's just so difficult, so I get mad at my book pretty often and have to go away and do something else for a while. For instance, get on PC or a game. Dangerously tempting.
