If you were offered a promotion to super moderator, would you accept the offer? And if you could moderate another section besides Video Games, what section would you most like to moderate?

Honestly? I have absolute no idea. I'm actually pretty torn on the idea. I mean, sure, I think I'm not the only Moderator who thinks it might be cool to have a shiny orange title and have a more impacting stance on the way the forum are run via HQ. I think I could thrive pretty well in that position. At the same time though, I absolutely love my position in Video Games and love how I get to organize fun events for other people through something that I love. I'm a pretty creative ideas guy, and I love the fact that I have the ability to put those ideas to action. Furthermore, I work with two of the chillest Moderators you could ever work with - i.e. Dragon and Klippy - and it would be pretty tough to give that away.

Basically if I wanted to become a Super Moderator, I would have to give up my position at Video Games. Which, for me personally, and probably similar to someone like Sydian with Challenges, that would be something that would be really difficult for me to do because it's so much fun in Video Games. If I could retain my position in Video Games and be a Super Moderator at the same time? I'd do that in a heartbeat. However, because that's not the case in how matters are handled around here, I'd have to think about it if the opportunity ever arised. Either way in my opinion, I'm not in any position to even get the SMod position - I only got modded in June of 2014 for reference - and I think there's a lot of personal growth for myself that needs to go on before I would feel comfortable in taking on the position.

To answer Part 2 of your question, I would absolutely love to help moderate Culture & Media alongside Antemortem. I think that's a pretty chill section all and all and I think a lot of fun things could be implemented there. I'd also love a shot of being a Moderator of Blogs (lol) or VIP Forum if either were given a chance to hold a Moderator, just because I think there's a lot of untapped potential in both of those places that I think with my creative mindset could build a lot of activity there.

Not sure if someone already asked or if you already covered it, but why did you originally join PC?

If you had the ability to change one thing in the way PC works or run some event in the same way the top staff member could, what would you change or run?

What was your most viewed/commented/rated blog entry in the Daily Bloggity?

Have you gotten better at Minecraft?

jkjk

But, being a mod of the video games section, what do you like to do for your section outside of PC? Do you watch E3 when it comes around for the section, or more for your own amusement (if you watch it at all)? Do you keep a close eye on what games are coming out, what they're about, and who's playing them?

Also what makes you stay on PC, beyond the friends you've made and your blog?

do you consider yourself a good moderator? are you satisfied with what you've done so far?

I wasn't ignoring these posts I promise! I just never had access to a computer until now, and as you can probably tell by the length of this post you can probably see why I didn't want to type it on a phone haha. Either way, if anyone has any other questions they want to ask me don't hesitate to ask! I'm an open book and there are no questions that I wouldn't answer, yo.

Not sure if someone already asked or if you already covered it, but why did you originally join PC?
I joined PC back in '09 because, like I think most people originally did, I wanted to collect every Pokemon! I had tried opening a trade center on Marriland but for some reason, I just didn't have as great of an experience on there as I did on here. It may have also just been that navigation on this site was a lot better, which is why I eventually just stuck with this site and I ditched Marriland altogether. It's really fun to just look back at my trade center which ran from '09 - '11. I just a little research and even though it closed on May 17th, 2011, the trade center was able to amass 7,381 posts and 217,983 views, making it the 3rd most posted and viewed shop in the history of PC. One could say I was a little bit obsessed back in the day but meh, that's what happens when you're 15 and don't really have that much of a hobby (there isn't that much left to it now but you can check out my old shop via this link here.

Revamp blogs on PC. There are a lot of small details that the section should have that just doesn't, which the rest of the site already has. This includes but is not limited to:
  • A 'like' button
  • Multiquoting on comments
  • Enabling polls for entries
On top of these additions, I'd also add:
  • A recoding of the "categories" section so I can see how many entries are in each category (i.e. 7 in Meet the PC'ers, 10 in Scribble Bloggity, etc. etc.)
  • Instant notifications so if you are a subscriber to a blog then you can be redirected immediately to that person's blog when they post an entry
  • An option to see how many people are actually subscribed to a blog
These are just some actions that I've actually brought up in the past, but because there is such a long list of things that are commented on having a higher priority, these ideas have been put on the back burner. Other than what I've listed, I'd like the Member Encyclopedia to be more open to the public (which I made a motion for and seems to be in the process of being implemented now), having the VIP Forum have a more prominent role in PC affairs, and get weekly game nights going in Video Games.

Ooh, this is a toughy. I've published so many entries that honestly, I don't know if I want to search through every single one lol (hey, wouldn't that be a nifty feature to have on blogs eh?) Most likely, the most viewed/commented entries are Meet the PC'ers and the PokeCommunity Podcast. They both have been pretty popular with the community at least that's how I view it, although I haven't been able to get the PC Podcast going as of late due to the enormous amount of time it takes to CSS/edit it properly on a blog (normally takes anywhere between 4-6 hours to do.) Besides those, probably my Daily Bloggity Tournaments; those had anywhere between 1,500 views and 40+ comments give or take.

I know you're just joking but I'm back on the server after taking a hiatus if you ever want to join us again!

Surprisingly, I actually do keep a close eye on news related to the video game realm. For the most part, I have three main sources of video game news resources that I go to:
  • r/XboxOne: As a huge pro-Xbox user - and probably one of the last ones left on this site to be blunt - I use this for all of intel Xbox/Microsoft related. Users are very good when it comes to letting everyone know what's going on in the Xbox One world, and I find a lot of game announcements. I'm generally not biased against the PS4 as I keep an open mind about things, but because I don't feel the need to check up on the r/PS4 because I don't own one, I usually let other people tell me what's up about that.
  • The Know: This is a YouTube channel run by some of my favorite entertainers, i.e. Rooster Teeth. While it's not the best place for video game news as the videos are generally pretty short, I'm able to get an immediate snippit of what's happening in the gaming universe when an announcement is actually made, which makes it pretty good on a Modding standpoint to get the news before everyone else.
  • Game Informer: And of course, because I'm a frequent user of GameSpot, I subscribed to Game Informer magazine with my Power Up Rewards card. It's a good magazine overall and provides some good reading material if you ever want to get an inside look at how gaming works!

Probably creating video game events for Video Games. I have fun creating new ways in which the community can interact with one another, which basically falls in my job description lol. Nonetheless, the Year of Gaming, VGPOTW, and the Minecraft Server keeps me pretty busy alongside what I do with my blog, plus PC is just a good time waster if you're bored riding on train and you need something to do. At the same time though, I find that I tend to spend a lot more time on PC than I generally want to - i.e. I just don't want to get too attached to the Internet/my phone like a lot of other do - so I do my best to moderate it as I see fit.
Going back to all the writing you do, have you ever gotten into writing fiction or looked into the Fan Fiction and Writing board?
I actually have! I have a segment in my blog dubbed Scribble Bloggity which I use as a place mat for my fiction that I've created. Granted, I've only been able to write one chapter of a piece of work titled Icarus - which you can find here. I'm a huge fan of the concept of virtual reality gaming, and shows like Sword Art Online and Log Horizon sort of motivated me to write my own loose adaption of those series. I would love to come back to it at some point, however, I just started up a new job and juggling that with my girlfriend, as well as just having a normal social life...something has to give you know?

Considering all the writing you do, do you read very much? If so, what?
It's funny you say that actually, I made it my goal about two months ago to start reading again! I'm pretty happy about it too, considering I find that a lot of our generation doesn't even read anymore, so call me a rebel (or an old fart depending on your outlook on this lol.) I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones as I want to read the books before I continue watching the show; I've only seen maybe a season and a half of it and I thought the show overall would be more enjoyable if I watched it after reading the books. If you have any recommendations for books in the future, send them my way as I'd love to give it a look!

Do you enjoy college? Or is it more of means to an end for you?
It's mainly a means to an end for me. My freshman and sophomore years were absolutely dreadful living on campus, and I'm honestly happier now living at home and commuting. I'm normally a very, very social person, but because I had a lot of internal affairs going on my freshman year with myself having a squabble with a friend I was really attracted to back in the day, I missed my golden opportunity to really connect with a bunch of "friends." Looking back now though, I don't regret it even the slightest bit. By living at home, it takes off a lot of pressure that I find a lot of students feel about trying to fit in with a new setting. Of course, every situation is unique and different, so try to enjoy college as much as you can to whoever is reading this! It just didn't fit me was all.

After experiencing with Nursing for two years, I am currently a third year Human Services major on co-op - meaning I'm working instead of taking classes - who is looking to declare a minor in Education by the end of this Spring. I'm very excited to say the least!
abandon all humility for a moment when you answer this
do you consider yourself a good moderator? are you satisfied with what you've done so far?
Yes to the first part, and not really to the second part of the question. The definition of "good" varies from person to person, but on a technical standpoint I think I hold my own. A moderator is supposed to defuse disputes that may arise in their section, as well as make sure things are working in order - two things that at least I believe I've been able to do. I think a Moderator also needs to be really approachable and just not have a stick up the arse like they're Big Brother or something and is a robot. As such, some Moderators/Staff members are more approachable then others, and I'd like to think that I've got a pretty level head on my shoulders when it comes to interacting with the community. I do my best to just have fun with the position by creating fun events for other people.

At the same time, I'll be the first to admit I can be pretty stubborn at times. When it comes to discussing advancements to the site when it comes to updated rules/policies, I'll be pretty adamant on certain issues, which could be a good or bad thing depending on the situation (more bad then good though lol.) It's something I'm working on though as sometime's being too passionate can cloud your judgement/hide the real picture that's going on, so it's just something that I need to be more conscious of. Sometime's it is better to act as a team player in certain scenarios, even if it may completely contradict your ideals.

To go off of the second part of the question, reason why I gave more of a yes/no answer is because sometimes I have difficulty executing my plans. I tend to find myself more of an "ideas" guy than anything, as I find that I have a pretty expressive and creative imagination. However, there are times when I have too many ideas that I either a.) don't follow through with it and/or b.) burnout in the process, which means that I just need to work more on my organizational skills. I've been called overzealous at times because I try to tackle too many projects at once - which is completely true, I am that at times - so I need to learn how to focus on one project, finish it, and then move onto the next one. But besides that, what with the work I've done with my blog, some additions to the site that have been implemented because of me pushing it along, my communication engagement with Year of Gaming, the Minecraft Server, and VGPOTWs, as well as any other events that have been going on, I find that I'm satisfied with what I've down so far, but there is always room for improvement.

I'll be sure to recommend some books to you then, any genres in particular you like?

You're going to minor in education? I'm studying primary school education myself actually. Why did you decide on that particular minor?

As long as it's not Fifty Shades of Grey, I'm good haha.

My co-op job I'm on right basically acts as a substitute teacher, so I thought I would just declare a minor in Rducation because I can see myself as a teacher. I've had years upon years of experience working with children from volunteering and such, so I thought I'd just make a profession out of it. I work with kids Kindergarten through 8th Grade right now, but I can see myself teaching Anatomy as I love the body and I spent two years of my life studying to be a Nurse. Either that or History, depending if the Anatomy road doesn't work out.

I'll be sure to PM you a list then xD

What kinds of things have you done that involved working with children?
Co-op job?
Numerous things actually. In college, I'm associated with an organization called Peace through Play where we go into intercity schools and teach students the characteristics and values to become their own role models through games and projects. I've been affiliated with them for about 3 years now, and it's been an absolute joy. With this club I've worked with kids anywhere between Kindergarten and 5th grade, and then sizes can vary from 5 kids to 20 kids. I've also worked with my local church with their Vacation Bible School program in the summer where I organize and run outdoor games for kids in that same grade range. I just love being able to act like a kid again with these young-lings and see where there imagination takes them; it's a real treat to experience.

As for my co-op, I basically act as a building aide for the elementary school in which I work for. While I predominately work recesses and lunches as a monitor, other jobs that I've done include but are not limited to administrative tasks like filing, copying, etc., substituting for teachers, working one on with students, and planning fun events for students. Unfortunately, I wouldn't say that it's the best job that I've ever worked at, but the hours go by very quickly and I get paid an alright amount so I'm not complaining.
Why do you like writing blog entries and what made you start? How come you changed your username from one word to three?

To some people's surprise, I actually started the Daily Bloggity in 2009. The concept of it when I was 15 was quite simple which included three videos in three separate entries: one that highlighted a song/artist, one that highlighted a comic strip, and one that highlighted a random funny video on YouTube. This was the backdrop of what my blog entailed and why it was called the Daily Bloggity back when. Fastforward to January of 2014 when I came back to the site and I decided to reboot those kind of entries. However, whether I was either completely ignorant of this fact back then and was never called out for it, or just the fact that I disregarded the rule, I was sent a message by a Super Moderator - I believe it was Gav/abnegation who did it - that I could only publish one entry a day. So, as you can probably imagine, I was in a little bit of a bind then. I wanted to keep the integrity of why I created the blogs in the first place intact - i.e. the three items which would provide daily entertainment for readers - but I had to adapt the new rule that was placed before me. As a result, I came to the conclusion that I would write pieces on whatever medium I wanted, usually roughly around 4-5 paragraphs in length in which each paragraph would be divided with the things that represented my blog back when. I couldn't be happier with the result to say the least.

As to why I started writing entries and continue to do so now, I just wanted to bring entertainment to people. Life's kindove sucky; not going to beat around the bush when it comes to that matter. We all have our bad days, and sometime's people have no one to turn to. So, I wanted to attempt to alleviate that problem as much as I could. Even if I could attract one viewer/reader to my blog, then my mission would be a success. And it has been thus far. I can't tell you how many people have VM'ed/PM'ed me about how much they love my blog, which always brings a warm smile to my face that I am succeeding in my original goal. So, as long as people continue to read the Daily Bloggity, then I'll continue to make blog entries as long as I can.

How is Noragami? I've been meaning to watch it, but I haven't been able to get into it yet. So, I was wondering what your opinion is in the anime. :3

Noragami is a fantastic anime! If you've watched an anime such as Kill la Kill, it's very similar in comedic structure. Personally, Noragami is one of my all-time favorite anime's because of character's in it. You'll love Yato and hopefully you will get some time to watch the series sometime!

What do you think the Patriots need to do to get back to the Super Bowl next year?

Darrell Revis. It's been probably ten years since the Patriots have had an elite presence on the opposite side of the field as Brady - thinking back to the Bruschi/Vrabel days - and it's a much needed thing as it completely eliminates the opposing team's top receiver. Without him I honestly think that the defense would be average at best, as you need that "commander" in the backfield and I don't know if Browner would be able to fit that role.

More over, the Patriots will have a lot of tough decisions to make as they are over the cap this year and have some key contract players that need to be handled which could ultimately lead to a lot of restructured contracts. Obviously there's Revis at the top, who wants to be the most paid cornerback in the league (but will take a home town discount if someone outbids the Patriots, all that matters is that he's paid more than Sherman.) McCourty is probably there second biggest contract they need to get squared away, as he's roughly one of the top 5 best free safety's in the league but shouldn't be paid the $9 million that he's going to be asking. A restructured contract will probably have to be done, otherwise I expect him to test the market. Wilfork is also going to be asking for big money, which honestly I wouldn't be surprised if he tested the market as well; he's getting old though and a little fragile health wise so I'd be sad to see him go but not enough to think it will make a huge difference.

Then you have the interesting case at running back. Right now, the Patriots have 5 running backs: Steven Ridley, Legarrette Blount, Shane Vereen, Jonas Grey, and James White. Ridley will most likely have to take a restructured deal because of his injury - I expect nothing more than a 1 year/$1 million deal - and the depth we have at running back. Blount...honestly I'm mixed about him, as he has the tenacity of Lynch but he doesn't have good foot skills; he's more of a train barraging forward then anything. Vereen will most likely walk as he's going to ask for big money, but I'm okay with that because the Patriots are going to turn White into the next Vereen (with less pay to boot!) And anything could happen to Grey really. Starting next season, I wouldn't be surprised if Blount, Grey, and White are their running backs, with the other two either being traded or testing the market.

In the end though, I would love to see the Patriots go for another WR or TE. Don't get me wrong, the Pats are already pretty lethal in that department; with the speed of Edelman (and Amendola) and the tenacity of Gronk, they're a really good 1-2 punch. However, I'd love to get either a deep ball threat or another TE like Hernandez. Hoomanawanui isn't really full filling that role, nor has Brandon LeFell really taken on the role as the "next" Randy Moss, as he's dropped a lot of balls in the past. If Bryant wasn't asking for so much money or wasn't such a hothead, I think he would be amazing for this offense, but even I wouldn't want his egotistical attitude on that team. Then again though, the Patriots are good at quelling that kind of stuff, but who knows.

Do you have a favorite place on the world?, And if you have it. Why do you like it?

Can my bed be my answer? lol I never get enough sleep as I get home really late everyday so it's a very powerful and blissful place for me.

Honestly - and this will sound really corny - but my favorite place is whenever I'm with my girlfriend. I used to be very depressive before I met her and I haven't had a depressive episode since I started dating her 8 months ago, so I've been very blessed with this opportunity. She makes my life amazing to say the least.

What's up with the random spoiler tag in your first post? Was it a picture? Did you just want to troll the ones who kept clicking it wondering if it just didn't load?!

Haha it was a picture! For some reason I think the expiration of the picture died; it was an old one of me my freshman year of college. Here's the picture of it, I'm the guy on the right:
Spoiler:

And favorite day of the week? Probably Sunday. The main reason is that I work as an elementary school teacher right now and because my days are basically 5AM-4:30PM, as well as usually going over my girlfriend's house afterwards - which then I come home around 10PM and just go right to bed - Mondays through Fridays are generally all washed up when it comes to me time. I generally hang out with my girlfriend on Saturdays as well, so Sundays are those blissful days when I have no obligations and can just lounge around the house doing absolutely squat. It's those golden kind of days when I'll just play some video games or sleep in till noon, because I very rarely get 8 hours of sleep nowadays.
