Fourth time my travel exemption to travel into Australia on the basis of being a spouse of a citizen was rejected. We're uploading all the supporting documents we can - marriage certificate, statutory declaration, call logs, shared groceries/finances logs, letters from friends and family, trip itineraries going back years, heartfelt statement explaining our entire relationship history and future plans, engagement photos, etc and still getting denied because they're 'not satisfied they meet the requirements for this exemption category.' We even have had to go as far as explaining how we split housework and cooking and it's ridiculous we have to go far enough to tell them what our favorite meals are to cook and who of us does what cleaning, and how often. The fact that a government can deny a citizen's spouse from entering 5, 10, 20 times before they maybe will get someone with a heart is just appalling.
 
Wanted to say it again but I'm really sorry to hear about this Janna :( I can't imagine how frustrating that would be and I wish you the best of luck with getting in, fingers crossed there's someone reasonable in the government who will review your applications. The amount of proof expected is so unreasonable based on what it sounds like you have provided. I can't even fathom what else they would expect and the fact they're also so vague about what else they want is just so poor on their part.

I am feeling tired and in need of a longer break. But it's OK, I'm slowly trying to get myself back into the swing of things and bracing myself for the busier weeks ahead. :'D

what the... that's ridiculously specific stuff they wanna know for just traveling somewhere.... or is this for moving there permanently? Even if so, this seems ridiculous still.
good luck with that inane bureaucracy! Hope you get it sooner or later =)

Moving for 3 years, could end up being permanent after too. It's just too strict and inhumane :(
