How did you discover PokeCommunity?

How did you find out about this website, and what was your reason for making an account?

I've been using the same message board since 2010. but I didn't like what was going on with it, so I wanted to post somewhere else until things were better. I remembered this website since it's where I downloaded Rom Hacks from.

I noticed some people on here have very old join dates, if you can't remember that's understandable, but it would be interesting to hear.

I came back to this place because I already knew about it. :P

But with my original account, I must have searched 'pokemon message board' or something. I was already part of a couple of message boards, and I would flip back and forth between them on different tabs. I guess when that was too slow for me, that's when I went looking and found PC. This is the only message board I'm a part of now, and I don't really want to go back to the crazy posting days I mentioned, otherwise I really won't be getting anything productive done. :P

I originally joined July 1st, 2015 under the username The Karma Police
I found out about PC because I was looking for a Pokemon forum where I could post about something I encountered while playing Emerald (it turns out that it was caused by the emulator and rom I was using), well anyways I made 4 posts and quickly forgot about PC just a few days later
Fast forward to August 1st of this year when I made this account (completely forgot about the one I had created 2 years and 1 month earlier) so I could download rom hacks and then I discovered how cool this place actually is and I think I will stay forever now :)

Google. & I joined because, at the time, I literally joined every single Pokemon forum that was around.

I first discovered the Community in 2007 or 2008, and had a different account at that point. I'm quite sure I heard about it from someone on Pe2k, which was my main forum back in the day. I can't remember why I went inactive, though it's likely because I was focusing on Pe2k and whatever was going on there at the time.

With the fall of Pe2k and my return to the foruming life after several years of infrequent activity (I blame college and mental health issues), I remembered the Community. I'd never had a negative experience here, and wanted a fresh start after such a long break.

Let's just say, I plan on sticking around, 'cuz this is my new forum-home, haha. Y'all are stuck with me ;3

I discovered PC through ROM hacks.

Definitely found this place while looking for hacking resources. If this account didn't have my main username I would've remade; I don't like that my join date is so old.

I got a cool Shiny in a Wonder Trade and I didn't want it, I talked to my friends on Steam about it and someone linked me here saying I should take a look. I traded my Shiny and didn't come back until a few months later. I remembered the Trade Corner was full of generous and kind people so I came back for more trades.

Well originally for ROM Hacks back in 2014 {XD}

Then around a year later I kinda forgot about my old account and made a new account again because I just searched 'pokemon forum' in Google then found this and remembered lmaooo

I looked it up bc I saw my brother was in a gaming forum and I wanted to experience that :zoomEyes:

I didn't want to use my old account when I remembered bc I cringe at my younger self :eyes:

Also got this account merged with the old one
