It depends. I swear at home and around friends somewhat sparingly. At work however, I don't swear at all since I work around children.

I try not to cuss, but sometimes I can't help but to cuss. Id say i dont swear like 99.99% of the time and this is really only a recent phenomenon. Its really just a personal preference. If I wanted, I would just cuss all the time.

I swear far too much, it's something I really need to learn to curb. It's not so bad when i'm just with friends or whatever, but there have been a few close calls at work and in other less social places where slips of the tongue have almost landed me in trouble.

I can't remember exactly when I began to pick up swear words, i'd imagine it was probably during secondary school, and, as is typical with young teens in that sort of environment, it was because I heard other people doing it.

My friends swear quite a lot and that habit has indeed been contagious so I usually swear around them. And that's what we sometimes do so much that it's embarrassing.
At least I don't swear around children or people's parents.
