I love how thanks to my beard people assume I'm a senior in college, yet I'm only a sophomore. That's always a great feeling when by appearance people think you're much older, when in actually you act like a 5-year-old. xD

Dude, don't ever shave your beard. Right now you could pass for a senior in any educational institution. :)

People mistake me for a junior in high school too! Which, wouldn't be a problem if it weren't for the fact that I graduated high school last year.

They did? I don't think my current internet is good enough for online games, but if I go over to a friend's house, I might have to give it a shot.

Think about how your internet was in 2007 or earlier. If it was good enough then and your internet isn't worse now than it was then, then you should be good. I can't play RS3 and my actual download speed for standard downloads is around 1.4 MB/s (P2P is around 3 MB/s), not to mention up speeds of 1 MB/s. Then again, my processor sucks as and just HAD to be soldered to my mobo… ahem.

Well, back in 2007, I lived in North Carolina. Considering I now live on the opposite side of the country, that doesn't really apply anymore. :P

I live out in the country, so my internet is a data package. I have to be careful what I do online or else I'll run out of data and be stuck with speeds slower then dial-up until it refreshes again.

I get charged with overage data fees. Gotta manage data carefully, seeing as I rely exclusively on capped connections.

Well, RuneScape back then was pretty archaic (as is Old School), and from what I can tell the game doesn't use 24-bit color or alpha channel. I get close to 50 FPS on a good day seamlessly, whereas RS3 doesn't even render 2 FPS, ever. It'd be nice if we could play, but if you don't want to, that's fine. :)

Speaking of games and frame rates, I'm thinking of making my next laptop a gaming laptop.

Welcome to the club. I've never played it myself. I'm not one for MMOs.

Mhmm, same. Although Elder Scrolls Online looks pretty interesting. I don't want to pay a subscription fee to play it though, so I might pass on it for now.

I also prefer single-player games, but I'm comfortable enough playing multiplayer games with people I know really well.

I like single player games better, but games that you can play with your friends are nice too. I never got into MMO games though, for some reason.

I play both single- and multi-player games equally, but for some reason I'm not -that- good at team-play, ergo I'm not always direcly in the warclusters to assist my teammates directly, so I often just play more like a lone wolf and help my team passively
(for example I play as a Recon a lot in BF4, and the kinda stuff I do for my team are e.g. spotting enemies, operating MAVs for air monitoring, SOFLAMs for laser designating enemy vehicles so friendly Engineers can engage them more easy, place down motion sensors to make my team able to see the enemy movement in a close area, use Radio Beacons as alternative spawn points, use sniper rifles to easily take out enemy Recons, etc. etc. while I can do all this passively)

When it comes single player and multiplayer I actually like both. Course there have been times I end up with bad team mates. For example, there have been times in Assassins Creed IV Black Flag when doing Wolfpack, where my team mates don't know how to sync-kill. Then there are the times I have ended up with team mates that go for quantity of kills instead of quality of kills. Those ones are the worst.

I don't mind at all, I don't think that one is better then another. But there are some games out there which have really awesome multiplayer features! I'm one of those people who like to play alone, so I guess single-player is more relateable to me.

For me, it depends on what type of game it is. xD;; If it's an adventure game like Legend of Zelda, then I would play it mainly for the story. If it's shooter or racing such as either Call of Duty or Need for Speed, I'd spend most part of my time on multiplayer.

I don't think anyone really plays Call of Duty for the story; considering the success of Titanfall, I wouldn't be surprised if Infinity Ward/Treyarch makes the game a multiplayer-only experience once they wrap the storyline of the Black Ops arc.

I like watching people play FPSers with Soundboards. Other than that, it's a pretty boorish and mindless genre to me. :<

Also, I'm like really excited for something that's going to be happening in the next week. I don't think it's right to talk about it here, but it's wracking my nerves out of excitement nonetheless. :D <3
