I guess the activity here in the DCC perfectly describes my day. Boring and quiet.

My weekend's been rather meh. I really want next weekend to roll around here and this coming week to roll by as fast as possible, especially considering in three days I have to go to the boards for Cadet of the Year (which I'd really like).

Next Saturday will hopefully be a nice release and'll let me unwind. Last night I tried doing that with an entourage of candles and pencil writing Hieratic, discussing the romanization of Egyptian sounds using the Latin alphabet with a roommate who believes that children and hieroglyphic writing depict what mankind is supposed to be, until my mother came in out of nowhere and decided to play Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (and had the nerve to ask me if I wanted to watch it). You don't know how frustrating it was to have that ambiance destroyed. :/

Haven't watched any movies in a while, haha. Might watch Iron Man 3 this week if there's nothing better to do. Did see it once before, but wouldn't hurt to give it one more try. :b

My weekend was alright up until last night I started getting these huge pains in my knee. It makes it really hard to walk up stairs, and normally I run up a flight of stairs faster than anyone (obviously I can't do that now). inb4 arrow to the knee joke

Also, after I got out of the shower a few hours ago I just decided to nod off for an hour or two with my cat. When our backs were against each other it was almost as if I could feel his energy emanating from him, and it let me tell that he was content to stay without being petted. He ended up outsleeping me :P

For all intents and purposes I kind of felt like a cat when I slept. My bed felt like a cloud, and I had the quietest company, and I didn't make a sound with my towel wrapped around me ever so comfortably.

I think the most I've ever slept in one go was 36 hours, which was when I was trying to align my sleeping schedule for I don't even know, since I didn't go to school then. I think I woke up for like 5 minutes and had my mother give me my medication with my eyes covered so my body wouldn't start making serotonin. The most I've ever stayed up in one block was 60 hours (2 1/2 days), ironically. :p
