having spent the last ten months in an elementary school, i've been eating a lot more fruits since we get free breakfast and i've also been buying lunches here as well. we also had a fruit and vegetable program where our students every week got to try a fruit or veggie that they may or may not otherwise eat, and talk about their experience with it.

so i gotta ask - what are your favorite fruits to eat? how about least favorite fruits? what is a fruit that you've been wanting to try for a long time but just haven't had the chance to?

My favorite used to be oranges, but they've been surpassed by peaches lol. I prefer their more subtle flavors over the harder punching citrus fruits.
As for least favorite, I don't think I have one? I don't recall having ever eaten a fruit I didn't like at all.
I'd say dragon fruit for one I've never had but want to try sometime.

After learning fruits are treated with pesticides, I haven't wanted fruit ever since. So, none.

and before people cry BuT BUt ORgANIC

    I can't afford that.

I love fruits! Strawberries are my absolute favorite. Mangoes, watermelon, and grapes are high up on my ranking. Apples and bananas are okay in smaller amounts. The only one I can say I don't really like is grapefruit. Really curious to try mangosteens because of the Bounsweet line (one of my favorite Pokémon of all time) which introduced me to the fruit.

When I think of fruit I think of the obvious apples and oranges but a big one for me are lemons, because I've always loved lemonade my whole life. When I started to try to make food from scratch I didn't even start with food, it was because I wanted to make pitchers of strawberry lemonade throughout a summer. Strawberries are a classic favourite and always my go-to answer whenever someone asks what my favourite fruit is, but cherries and peaches are both fruits I really like. A really good cherry limeade is absolutely to die for.
I've had a lot of good memories picking or buying berries with my parents during the summer, so blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries are big for me. I really like pears as well, there was a solid two weeks or so where I was really craving a pear. When I got it, it was more like I was satisfied I got to resolve that craving more than I actually enjoyed the taste of the pear itself, but it was good!
Fruit sodas are great, and they're usually immediately what I look for when I go to America to find drinks we don't have. Things like Strawberry or Pineapple Fanta are awesome.

The only fruit I dislike that I can immediately think of is bananas, but only raw, since I'm a total sucker for banana bread. I also hate the strawberry kiwi flavouring in things like drinks and candies, and I really dislike grape juice and soda.

And while it's not directly relevant, I do have to state that I salt my watermelon! It's a really fun and interesting way to eat watermelon if you've never tried it.
