There was a documentary I saw recently about that and other stuff. It said that in the US in the 50s there was less money all around but more people were able to go to college than today when there is a lot more money. People today don't want to pay anymore.

But, you know, that was after the war and all.

And here's the conundrum: Most people here want free healthcare and education and such, but also don't want to pay taxes.

Reminds me of the 'dumb, dumb, dumb' tune from the Mormon episode of South Park.

Reminds me, I just got my new insurance cards from my job. I need to make a dentist appointment as I am overdue for a checkup :D

i'll never understand why people decide to be dentists or orthodontists

i hope the money is worth being around dirty ass mouths and teeth and braces all day

Would you rather be a dentist or a foot doctor?

And also, I've never been to a dentist in my life either, but that doesn't mean my mouth is perfect. I've just learned to live with the... imperfections.

i think i'd rather work with teeth in that case, you can always make an excuse to make someone brush their teeth again before you start. but i don't think i'd voluntarily become an orthodontist.

I only met one good one in my life, myself. The one who put my braces on was an asshole.

You have some serious problem there, my friend. In fact, with that true, I'm surprised you're still sane enough to declare it.

I'd love to have some kit kats but chocolate bothers me :((((
Chocolate always gives me problems as well. It's gotten worse as I've grown older, so I find myself drifting away from any sweet food in general.

Also, I boycott Kit-Kats because their commercials set off my misophonia. Which is a shame, because the one time I had a white chocolate Kit-Kat it was delicious and I miss them.

After having issues eating chocolate all my life, I find that I'm not one of those "I need chocolate to live!" people who always pity me when they hear I can't eat it. I never understood what made chocolate so good and apparently necessary to live.

I don't like chocolate as much because it always seems to melt so fast :( I bought a Reeses the other day and it was melted by the time I got to my car.... Though it was 90 degrees out. :s

Just pure chocolate is kinda meh, chocolate bars and such are good tho.

I understand. Forgive me for my rudeness. It's simply that I, personally, cherish chocolate like a good gift to this world. I'm an extremely picky eater, with somewhat sensitive taste buds. I never liked the sorts of foods that most children liked, not snacks or candy or cake. So you see, chocolate was all that I had left in my darkest times.
Of course, there are still many types of chocolate that I despise (such as peanut butter, crunch-fudge, etc.)
I do hope I have made my point clear. And, again, sorry.
