I don't mind chocolate...in very, VERY small amounts. My sweet tooth has diminished significantly as I've gotten older. If it's like a thin layer of chocolate on top of a biscuit or something, sure. If it's a solid block of the stuff or a cake that is more chocolate than cake, then no.

I love chocolate as long as it's not overly sweetened. I see way too many cakes where you have to dig for too long to get to the actual cake through layers of "chocolate" icing that's really more diabetes than chocolate.

Dark chocolate da best.

Dark chocolate is just so bitter :< I can tolerate it in very small amounts but it's not something that I crave tbh.

I love white chocolate melted over something salty, like pretzels!

Has anyone in the US had a Nestle Kit-Kat? Apparently because they are the original, they have better chocolate.

I've never understood why KitKat in the US is different from the rest of the world tbh :(

Wikipedia says...

The Hershey Company has a licence to produce Kit Kat bars in the United States which dates from 1970, when Hershey executed a licensing agreement with Rowntree. Nestlé, which has a substantial presence in the US, had to honour the licensing agreement when it bought Rowntree in 1988 which allowed Hershey to retain the Kit Kat licence so long as Hershey was not sold. As Kit Kat is one of Hershey's top five brands in the US market, the Kit Kat licence was a key factor in Hershey's failed attempt to attract a serious buyer in 2002.

We have a shelf of US goods in my local Tesco Extra, and your chocolate wrappers are so plain and unappealing =/

...but your cereals all look pretty cool.

I can fangirl over cereals all day long.

The only cereal I eat is... boring old Nestlé cereal balls with a bit of chocolate cover. Boring, but they don't have much sugar or fat so best balance I think.

I used to love Kellogg's cereals. I grew up with Coco Pops (how the hell I managed to eat those at 7am I will never know, the idea makes me cringe now) and Frosties etc, and later on I started having cornflakes when I realised I could turn them into super Frosties by overloading them with sugar, haha.

I prefer cereal bars these days. I'm a slow eater, and I don't like soggy cereal, which is inevitable for me now because I can't eat it quick enough. Bars have fruit filling which tastes amazing as well. xD

These days, I'm so much of an old person that my favorite cereal is honey nut toasted oats. Plain toasted oats are still too plain for me, but honey nut ones have just enough flavor to be delicious.

And I say "toasted oats" instead of "Cheerios" because I buy store-brand cereal.

Usually my breakfast is a three-pack of protein-rich foods: cubes of meat (turkey or chicken), nuts (peanuts or cashews), and cheese.

I wake up too late to really have breakfast, but cinnamon toast crunch is my fave.

Hmm, high protein food? That is a lot. That breakfast could cost a lot of money for me >:)
Haha, they're really not that expensive! It's just a small snack pack that costs $1.79 or so. Even though the food inside is usually expensive, the amount in the pack is cheap and light enough for a simple breakfast.
