I'll accept hugs from pretty much anybody, mostly, but when giving, I only stick with those that I'm familiar with. Giving hug to some person that you've just met seems… sort of awkward to me, haha.

As far as phones go, I'm currently on Simple Mobile, and am pretty satisfied. Have to pay only $40 a month, and would get unlimited talk and text. There's also 1GB Internet alongside, which makes it a pretty good offer all-in-all! Have been subscribed since two years ago, and still am.

ATM I'm without a plan on my phone, and I don't have to worry when I do get one. It stuns me why people with the ability to buy elsewhere go into these incredibly binding contracts that end up milking them out of more money than they would've paid buying the phone flat-out only to be forced into incredibly bloated ones with feature proportions akin to someone cancerous enough to be passed off as a zombie. And those who get iPhones along with that? Oh my.

Actually, in my end that's...half true xD. I'm actually paying far less than I thought I would, especially since I'm an iPhone owner. I'm on a shared plan which includes 10 GB of data (which is a lot), and unlimited texting and calling. 3 lines for $145, and we get a discount from my dad's company which lowers our bill a little more.

Only? That seems like an awful lot to me for only 1GB data. I pay less than that (well, idk agter currency conversions and the lol-you-arent-american-tax) and get 20GB with some sort of absurdly high near-untouchable limit on minutes and texts.

what does that even mean @ the bolded

In all seriousness, plans are pretty good for people who don't have the money right there to buy the phone with. Especially since you can usually, if you go to the effort and you're good with words, whittle down the phone companies to get you a bit of a cheaper contract. ...of course I didn't have to do that since my best mate works at an EE (one of the major networks over here) store and managed to jump through some hoops to get me an iPhone 5S at a fraction of the normal price, but that obviously doesn't apply to everyone haha. Still though - for some people they work out well. And others don't want the hassle of negotiating and have enough money up-front.

10 GB of data (which is a lot)

My 14 year old cousin blew through that in a month by herself. Oh my god, I was absolutely mystified.

Great description or the greatest description?

Yeah, I'm also no contract, based-on-usage. Life is good.

Now if I just didn't have to use a contract for internet. >_>

<_<

I just have a flat rate of $40 for unlimited everything. The service is good, too, but I feel like that's only because where I live. Real question, though, do people even talk on the phone anymore these days?

I just put in a 20 euro prepaid card, and buy 600 minutes and 600 sms, 1 gig of internet and still am left with 8 euros for stuff. Also can we get a proper mobile site up? Nomal pc on my phone does weird ♥♥♥♥ with the bbs and it always changes position.

Unlimited data would be sweet, but don't have it. I get pretty close to running out every month actually, haha. We're probably going to be switching from AT&T soon though, because it really isn't living up to our expectations, to say the least. d:

My mother was once considering getting unlimited data because last month I had a week of extreme lagging caused by all the data getting consumed by my brother's video gaming habits. She decided against it because she didn't want to change providers.

That week was a pain for me because I was unable to get on Tumblr or PC without facing extreme lag.

If only Verizon were affordable. They're so good. :I

Idk, there was a guy that called Verizon because they told him he would be charged .002 cents per KB in Canada and he was charged .002 dollars - and after 3 people none of them understood the difference between the two. Months later they still refused to recognize it and only gave him a partial discount because they insisted that he's wrong and that those two are the same amount of money and it's his fault for not understanding.

I think we're gonna end up with T-Mobile, but I have heard good things about Verizon. I don't use my phone too much because Netflix is better on a television screen, but would be nice haha.

Fair warning from someone who's been on T-Mobile for years: 4G coverage in rural areas outside of towns and away from major highways is lacking. Otherwise, it's solid service that's substantially cheaper than the colossal duo.

...not sure who I'm losing faith in more, Verizon or humanity.

Oh, I forgot to mention that it's 1GB of 4G data, haha. Once you reach your limit, you're still able to browse, I believe, but speed wouldn't be as fast.
