Shhhh, let us talk about the Saints and how they'll beat all dem football teams this year.
 
Football? I'd say Manchester United is looking good under van Gaal so far. Also I'm hoping Arsenal wins something again this year, hopefully more major.

I can always blame being Swedish when there are words I don't understand, but it's getting a bit strained since I've been talking and writing in English for years now...

I had known it for years but didn't know how to spell it until now. xD It's pronounced "awnry" and means devious or mischievous I guess. :3
 
Oooh. Didn't we have word of the week in the VIP lounge or something? I should totally suggest words that I don't know and everybody can teach me to use it over the course of a week 8)

Ornery actually means combative and bad-tempered. It's not a good thing.

ok we had a cat named Ornery when I was in preschool and I imagine the definition I used it in was distorted from him. He was alpha as ♥♥♥♥ and liked to eat corn on the cob while spinning it between the walls and the floor, and annoyed the hell out of Sebastian, the other older cat of ours.
 
I had a cat named Rizzo, he was mean and terroized our whole family. We treated it right, yet it always creeped on us, while sleeping, and claw our faces, and destroy the house. It betrayed us for another family. Then when it decided to crawl back, we were driving away for a family outing, and we ran it over....

Happiest/saddest day of my life(99% happy). The other 1 % was empathy. I should stay from cats xD
 
I never realized how depressing it would be reading the last meals of dozens of executed prisoners, and why Kentucky-Fried Chicken is the most popular. It makes me wonder what occurs in your mind at the wake of impending death to bring want for such a particular food – what nigh unfathomable levels of thought that would crush you into requesting such an ordinary and commonplace food. I guess I'll never know, bar being condemned myself. Still, I imagine even being a warden or such would be incredibly eye opening when interacting with other humans awaiting execution, huh? Emotions and feelings pierce far more than the eye, don't they?
 
I would say that KFC reminds them of a time when everything wasn't so screwed up. The KFC's purpose is not so much to please the palate as it is to please the mind. In your final moments would you rather indulge yourself in a delicacy you've never before tasted, or a simple meal you would have with your family after church on sundays surrounded by people you cared about all smiling and laughing together? I think if I were to have a final meal, it would be meatloaf, home cooked, not prepared by the prison of course.
 
KFC is the only American Fast Food joint in the city left, and even then I have to take like 3 buses to the mall in the middle of nowhere to get some. Even then its like 10 euros for a 20 piece bucket with no fries or coke or anything really.
