I don't know where to go next. With no teammates, Hugo and black Gil has nowhere to go.

Also, can I switch to playing Hugo as my main character?

Geras has pretty much answered your first question, there are also going to be missions coming up really soon that you'll be able to post in as soon as your wrap up your day IC (end it in some way).

And yes, go ahead! You can play Gil and Hugo both as main characters too. Everyone is encouraged to develop all their characters equally :D

Act 2: Missions!

Here are the long-awaited missions! Be sure to read the rules on how to write and sign up for them!

Beacon

Inland:

  • The secluded mountainous village of Hilsock has been taken over by Grimm and the villagers have been trapped in the local church for the past three days. The Grimm are not very strong on their own, but their leader is a never-seen-before lion-like creature. Kill all the Grimm and save any trapped villagers in any areas of the village.

  • A medium-sized group of faunus has been identified to live in secret in a nearby cave system. After observation we have concluded that they are armed but not many, being only a few large families. You will be observing and assisting a team of huntsmen in their capture and arrest. Killing is allowed in self-defense.

Off-land:

  • A - Recently, a plane malfunction caused a military cargo airship to drop crates of valuable supplies such as weapons and ammo onto a small unexplored island which we have dubbed Island G. The island is almost completely overrun with exotic Grimm of all sizes, and its dense foliage makes it near impossible to land on with an airship. You will be dropped into the jungle connecting to the rocky shore along with the mission B and C teams, and will have to retrieve as many crates of the cargo as possible within a day. In addition to unknown Grimm species, a large colony of Death Stalkers has been identified to live around the more mountainous areas.

  • B - The plane incident has brought to our attention that Island G needs to be charted and scouted, to be planned as a potential new settlement. To do this, we will provide you with a beacon you are to place on the highest identifiable and reachable point in the island, which we estimate is the top of the mountain in the middle of the island. You will be dropped into the island along with the mission A and C teams, though your drop-off point is some distance from the mountain. Be careful as a large colony of Death Stalkers has been identified to live around the more mountainous areas.

  • C - In order to expand the Inter-kingdom database of Grimm and animal knowledge, we have been tasked to catalog any new kinds of species discovered on Island G. Your team will be provided with cameras and all necessary equipment to assemble a detailed assessment of the Grimm population on island G. This must also include the underground cave system which runs underneath the island and is most likely home to horrific species of Grimm. In order to assure your safety, you will be assisting a specialist Huntsman. You will be dropped into the island along with the mission A and B teams.

FaunAc

Inland:

  • Crocodile-like and other reptile Grimm have taken over a large section of Menagerie's (already terrible) sewer system. Sabotage from humans is suspected, though their presence is unknown. You must kill any and all Grimm you encounter and investigate their source.

  • The drug trade in menagerie is one filled with horror, immorality and misery, and has been making the streets even worse for regular citizens. While we do not possess enough power to stop the entire trade, a recent incident which led to a shootout between two minor gangs has brought to our attention that these gangs need to be eliminated before they grow out of control. You are not allowed to kill unless it is an absolute necessity.

Off-land:

  • A - A plane malfunction caused a human military cargo airship to drop crates containing weapons and ammo onto a small unexplored island which we have named Island G for convenience. The island is almost completely overrun with exotic Grimm of all sizes, and its dense foliage makes it near impossible to land on with any of our airships. You will be dropped into the jungle connecting to the rocky shore along with the mission B and C teams, and will have to retrieve as many crates of the cargo as possible within a day all while avoiding or taking down any humans which you encounter. In addition to unknown Grimm species, a large colony of Death Stalkers has been identified to live around the more mountainous areas.

  • B - We fear that the plane incident is going to cause humans to look further into Island G, and we must beat them to it. We have decided to scout and map the island for our own use, and make it a potential safe haven for faunus. To do this, we will provide you with a beacon you are to place on the highest identifiable and reachable point in the island, which we estimate is the top of the mountain in the middle of the island. You will be dropped into the island along with the mission A and C teams, though your drop-off point is some distance from the mountain. Be careful as a large colony of Death Stalkers has been identified to live around the more mountainous areas.

  • C- One of our spies has discovered that a small team of novice hunstmen along with a veteran mentor will be scouting Island G and taking pictures and killing species of Grimm they encounter. Your job is to locate this team, seize their equipment and findings and use them for the faunus' advantage. This means you will likely have to explore the underground cave system

Some rules to keep in mind:​
  1. Missions occur 1 month after the first day of school IC. This means that by then, your team would know each other fairly well and most probably some other students/staff.
  2. You can only start your mission if you've ended your first day of school somehow. This could be either by literally going to sleep, or ending your post in a way that gives a sense of conclusion, or crying till you get knocked out
  3. You can register for a mission by putting it here in the OOC or letting me know via PM/VM.
  4. You are able to go either as a team of 2, 3 or 4 members for any mission. Full teams of four members are greatly encouraged though!
  5. Once you fully complete a mission, you will be leveled up to level 3.
  6. You must make at least 2 posts for a mission to be fully complete. No cheating!
  7. If none of these missions interest you, or the one you really really wanted is taken, don't hesitate to request for one! I will gladly oblige if it's reasonable and fun.
  8. In offland missions, you are very likely to meet teams from the other side (even from other missions, e.g. team A of becon could met team C of the faunus). Temporary alliances are allowed, make sure to keep your individual objectives in mind though.
  9. You are allowed to make up any kind of Grimm you want, as long as you deem it believable!

Don't hesitate to ask any questions if you need anything!

Just in case you missed it, you're allowed to go on missions as a team of 2! If you still want to drop out then that's a shame, hope you find better luck in other RPs~

Personality: Having been born the oldest of thirteen children, Saul has had to show maturity since his childhood. Most days his parents would be out working so he'd be on his own, watching over his many siblings. And surprisingly enough he was able to manage everything with flying colors. The young man has always had an amazing paternal instinct. In all situations he seems to be calm and in control, and when conflicts arise he almost always plays the role of peacemaker. He just has a calming presence about him that makes those around feel at ease.

The biggest fault with the lovable giant definitely lies with his level of intelligence. As he was raised in a very rural area his schooling was less than adequate and as a result he is far behind his peers in the classroom. But, while he may be dense in the academic field, Solomon's ability to perceive and connect with others is unparalleled. He's always been someone people can go to for advice and comfort. TEAM DAD FTW

Appearance: The most apparent feature about Solomon is just how f*cking big he is. At six-foot-eleven and two hundred and seventy pounds, he's quite the tank. hehe class jokes His parents were actually rather small, but through some sort of freak genetic mishap he grew as tall as a tree and as strong as a bear. Although his physical stature may seem intimidating, his warm smile and kind, piercing blue eyes reveal how he's actually just a gentle giant. His rough white skin is slightly tanned from all the time he spent working outside growing up, and the many scars he has on his body are a testament to all those hours. He likes to keep his hazel brown hair at a rather shaggy length, opting to let it grow out quite a bit.

As far as outfits go, Saul likes to keep things rather simple. His favorite outfit is to just wear a white button down, tucked into some khaki pants, and paired with a tie. The only distinctive part of his outfits is the bright red aviator jacket that he seems to always be wearing. Although he knows that it does look rather ridiculous, it was a gift from an old friend, so he cherishes it, and dons it almost all the time.

Semblance: Solomon's semblance has been dubbed "The Unmovable". It allows the user to move in any way they want, without any outer interference. Any knockback, or exterior force is neutralized as soon as it touches the user. The force will still be delivered, and the subject will feel the pain, but the moving forces are absorbed by the semblance. A truck could hit Saul while he's using his semblance and he wouldn't move an inch.

The strongest Unmovable users can make themselves completely immune to any damage for a certain period of time. Depending on the strength of the user it might be anywhere from seconds to minutes. When this facet of the Unmovable is active, all forms of damage are completely neutralized. Blades won't pierce skin, maces will be stopped in their tracks, and bullets will just fall to the ground.

Weapon: As Solomon's semblance allows him to get up close and personal with his opponents he uses that to his full advantage. His weapons of choice are two ridiculously large metal gauntlets that cover both of his forearms. Growing up in a rather rural area, he didn't get much training with weapons that require skill so these weapons that further increase his already super human strength, work perfectly for him. Another special feature of his gauntlets are that they can shoot explosive rounds for moderate or short ranged attacks. The draw back of this is that anything further than around thirty five yards will be out of range.

Robin is extremely volatile when attacked or threatened. Her otherwise calm and shy nature erupts into that of a storm, deadly and untamed. When not under threat, Robin spends her time reading endless novels about revolutions.

Level 5 Spheres now explode upon contact freezing a larger area
Level 6 Can explode an icy aura that freezes everything in an area around her
Level 7 Can create an icy storm that freezes everything around her and directs frozen projectiles at her target

Her weapon at first looks like a regular sword - but the blade can extend, forming into a deadly whip at the touch of a button. The hilts of 'Razor Eclipse' have bullets infused with Dust, causing different elemental effects.

Race: Human
Theme: You're On - Madeon

Personality: Fiery and hot-headed, Teema is a tough young man who won't step down from any fight. As such, he is always moving forward, fighting or not. He enjoys setting goals for himself and will never truly back down from any challenge. Because of this, he has a strong dislike for those without a goal. People who simply "go with the flow" just irk him that way.

Teema is a adolescent who holds quite a bit of pride and respect for both himself and those around them. He strives to be as good as he possibly can be in any situation, even if he doesn't always end up on top. It simply gives him a reason to keep trying and moving forward in life. This makes him find solace in rivalries. Rivalries are just a thing to push him to improve and gain relationships. Seems like a win-win to Teema.

Much unlike his brother, Teema is a very outgoing person. He enjoys talking to other people, participating in classes, and joining into heated discussions (even if his presence isn't necessarily needed). Due to this, he can come off as a bit annoying on occasion, but its almost never too bad to have him around. He also enjoys talking to women, often flirting with them even if it doesn't really go anywhere. He does know he can be a bit much, but he constantly tries to improve. As such, he will respect when others ask him to stop and won't put up too much of a fight if asked to leave.

He is also incredibly artistic, having played with music for most of his life.

Appearance: Teema is a handsome young man with a toned, lean body. Standing at a height of 6', he take great pride in how he looks. He has bright red hair to match his hot headed personality. He also shares the same brown eyes with his brother, though they do seem to be slightly lighter.

On the topic of clothing, Teema tends to wear clothes that fit well to his personality. Often enough, this comes down to a normal pair of jean, a t-shirt, and a nice, black leather vest. When in battle, he does wear something similar to his brother, albeit red instead of the blue of Imad. Oddly enough, however, his headphones seem to be a constant addition to his outfit, both on and off the battlefield.

Semblance: Teema has an unique Semblance in the case of Sound Empowerment. While not always an effective ability (due to not having his headphones on hand or possibly broken), Teema's combat style and prowess changes it depending on what he hears. When listening to something with a fast beat and high energy, Teema will adapt to just that. The faster the music or the sound, the faster he will. If its a louder style with more power behind it, Teema will be stronger. Steadier music will give him a steady, agile flow in battle and slow, downbeat music can make his defenses stronger. Music that is more random, such as dubstep, is a little bit trickier for him. It seemingly gives him the ability to 'blink' short distances, albeit randomly and out of his control.

Over time (as he gains levels), Teema will be able to gain larger boosts from his empowerments and will hopefully gain more control over his blinking ability.

Weapon: Teema's weapon of choice is the Downfall, an axe and dual SMG mix that Teema personally customized further into a working guitar. The weapon perfectly combines Teema's need for music and battle, easily transitioning between the three whenever a situation came about. Typically a close-ranged fighter, Teema is a tad bit slower than others due to the size of his weapon, but that won't stop him from getting in as many hits as he can get.
