Get TV promised to show a bunch of ORAS information, but instead they only showed the E3 trailer. I know nothing new would be going to be revealed, but I was more hoping on some gameplay footage. Why Japan, why do you have to lie?
 
Get TV was a bit disappointing in terms of new information, but overall this month has brought some really exciting stuff on to the table, and I'm pretty content with what was released. Saw a lot of overworld shots, even Fortree, which was one of the places I wanted to see most, as well as new Mega evolutions! :]
 
Am I the only one who doesn't care about Megas ? I'd rather have "real" evolutions.
The things I hope for most are all the Emerald features, especially the Battle Frontier ! I hope GF confirms the Battle Frontier, or else I will be severely disappointed. Also, as others have mentioned : more involvement from Gym leaders, E4 members, rivals and the champion in the story and the Gym leaders should do other things outside their gyms.
 
I expected more from Get TV, even if it was just an extensive E3 coverage. I guess this means we've got to wait until July for our next news batch. ;(

We can be resourceful. One piece of information for us = tons of speculation. XD

But in all honestly, I agree with you. We may get a few tidbits here and there, they might have a Mystery Gift event that starts on the release date and they'll (probably) tell us about that, but other than that, I don't think they're going to reveal too much.

^ resourceful is right. That screenshot with Steven showed a hole in the wall and everyone jumped on the Secret Bases thing. XD; kind of funny when you think about it.
 
They weren't even trying to reveal secret bases in that screenshot, most likely. Fortunately, the Pokemon fandom is very observant, as one can tell by searching ORAS on tumblr, haha. One screenshot or tiny CoroCoro leak can lead to hundreds of different speculation theories, even if it's something relatively simple. xD

Yeah, like me thinking that tiny Steven at Granite cave was Brendan in customizable clothes...while everyone else was right that it was Steven after all xD

If mix records come back I hope it'll allow us to get the Mega stones exclusive to the other version as well :3
 
With remakes, it's kinda difficult to leak new information with us already knowing the basics of the games. However these are slightly different now that Mega Evolutions have been introduced..
 
Thanks for posting all these screenshots, everyone. I have not found the time to go looking for them. I am so ready for this game.

I just saw the new trailer that was released a few days ago. No scenes of underwater. I really, really hope the underwater exploration comes back, or I may cry...
Maybe they just don't want to release it yet..XD
 
Given how the map shows various dark spots, it's highly unlikely diving won't make a return. (Plus, how would you get into Sootopolis?) It's also a staple to the games, so to take it out would be silly. If anything, they'll either hold off on showing it 'til later 'cause they probably know or assume a lot of people really want to see it, or they won't show it at all and let us discover it ourselves.
 
Diving is unique to Hoenn, and one of the most important HMs in the game thanks to the huge amount of water routes and terrain in the region! It would make no sense to remove it from ORAS, so doubt that they will. In fact, I'd like to see them expand on it, add more areas underwater to explore!
 
Yeah, they're on the map (which is helpful) so they'll return. I'm hoping we'll see some under water scenes (with a trailer being added to the official site of it) next month. Also I hope they hint at Primal Rayquaza or reveal it.

I know, 'cause I actually thought that the ORAS trailer was for the new Wii U Zelda game that Eiji Aonuma was talking about before it at first because of how the kid at its start looked like he could be playing the part of a young Shigeru Miyamoto exploring the woods near his house (that was what inspired the Zelda games, IIRC!!!) Am I the only one who was psyched like that?

ORAS is shaping up to be worth buying a console for it, haha. Graphics look a step ahead of X and Y, albeit a small step, the characters are refurbished and look amazing in their new design, Mega evolution makes a return with new forms to boot, an all-new form of evolution in Primal Reversion is introduced, and much more that they probably haven't revealed to us yet. If I didn't have a 3DS right now, I'd buy one for the Hoenn remakes, definitely. :]
 
For those who don't already have one think of possibly waiting to see if they're having a bundle or are releasing a special 2/3DS (they did so for XY). Perhaps they'll announce one next month for fall release.

I think that most of the things we'll be seeing from now on will be updates/reintroductions to things introduced in the originals like the Pokénav, Bases, etc.
