Lol I am drinking a beer too, even though I don't even like it much. Pizza does sound pretty great, though. 2-3 slices of pizza right now would make me sleep for about a million hours lol

I always get sleepy right after I eat as well. Thanksgiving dinner especially does this omg X_X

Instead of making me happy and hyper, beer makes me even more sleepy when I get bored. But when I sleep, I sleep for 12 hours straight lmao.

I think drinking tonight was a bad idea though :(

Yeah same here, but I tend to sleep good when I'm drunk. Unless it's something like Mike's Hard Lemonade, which makes me feel like crap if I drink enough of it.

I recently got fined (or threatened for a fine I'm not entirely sure) for underage drinking. Funny thing is I was sober, but I walked around with vodka in my pocket so.

I'm a terrible drunk. Not necessarily with how I act but in the sense that I have problems controlling myself when I drink, and that I crave drinks constantly. I feel like I can't diagnose myself an alcoholic, but I do drink way too much. When I do drink it's way too much (I've been nearly hospitalized for a case of pneumonia that was brought on by drinking) and it's just sort of frustrating I suppose. With College around the corner I just hope I can control myself not to **** up everything.

I don't party too often these days, actually. And I don't drink outside of parties, really. Unless I'm taking a glass of wine to dinner or a beer with friends for the sake of pleasantness.

I like beer. I love beer. There are many kinds of good beer, and sadly a lot of bad, yucky, cheap beer too. I also like red wine more than white wine. It used to be the other way around but idk maybe I've gotten badly drunk from white wine too many times now to appreciate the taste :x

Moderately drunk or at least tipsy is fun because you dare to talk to people and do things you wouldn't normally do. It gets more lively and less awkward. As long as you don't get too drunk and do things you regret later. Everything in moderation, is a way of living or so I've heard.

I'd imagine that in three years (when I am 21 and old enough to drink in my country), I'm probably gonna be the person that's the chauffeur for everyone and remain sober at parties, particularly because my parents don't want to see me drunk with hangovers (considering how much I apparently obsess over sobriety)..

Though I'd imagine myself at the same time taking a sip when I do turn 21 in 2016, haha :P but maybe before then if I do go to another country away from the United States as well...

Dammit, I can't even integrate into this conversation because I can't drink (being muslim and all).

So I'll just post this recipe for waffles I found on the internet.

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat waffle iron. Beat eggs in large bowl with hand beater until fluffy. Beat in flour, milk, vegetable oil, sugar, baking powder, salt and vanilla, just until smooth.
Spray preheated waffle iron with non-stick cooking spray. Pour mix onto hot waffle iron. Cook until golden brown. Serve hot.

I happen to come from a country where traditional food is what's abundant, so I can't really say I've ever tasted homemade Waffles. Homemade almost everything too.

I bought some homemade chocolate two years back. The taste. God.
I'm craving for it.

I've never really had homemade chocolate (made from scratch I assume?), but since I live in a country where all sorts of cultures exist, we've got quite the variety of foods.

One food I usually can't talk about though to those who don't live in Florida is the Cuban sandwich, which can pretty much be found at any food store down here. Up north, from what I've heard, you never really see those around unless you eat out at a fancy restaurant or something along those lines, but I have no idea to be honest v_v

Pizza to alcohol to waffles. X}

I'm capable of making things homemade but ehh I'm lazy. I also tend to burn my hands while cooking because I'm clumsy (usually spilling boiling or nearly-boiling substances on them). Sometimes it's just stupidity, though, like poking food that's being cooked at 400* haha.

I can make these things, though:
Spoiler:

Apparently people in other places don't it exists. I: People around here call it puppy chow; I don't know the real name haha.

Ugh I don't understand why I came to this thread when I haven't had anything to eat today. I should've known that the topic would still be on some type of food or drink!

That said I don't remember what they're called but I believe I have had those before! If they really are what I think they are. I recognize they're shape and such but I might be thinking of something completely different hmm.

I'm an okay cook. I can make pasta. I haven't really tried making anything else. Except chicken with my sister once but that turned out dry oops.

Back from a nice week in the Algarve~

I don't think I have ever eaten those. No idea on what they are.
I can cook rice, pasta, and meat (sometimes). Not much else really. Oh and fries. It's enough to keep me alive while at Uni.

I love cooking and I would say that it is one of my favorite things to do while offline. I am happy my mom taught me to cook at such a young age, so now when I do move out I will be able to survive much easier =D

It's cereal (usually chex or crispix) with peanut butter / chocolate around it and powdered sugar. Not very healthy haha.

Most of the time, I avoid cooking solely out of laziness. I procrastinate making meals, then forget about it. I occasionally end up only eating one meal throughout the day because I legitimately didn't remember to eat. X}
When I do remember, I usually just make whatever is around the house. I have to avoid anything with artificial dye/preservatives/flavoring because of allergies, so most canned/frozen/etc. food is a no.

Also, my lizard eats healthier than I do. I'm picky about what I feed him, so the majority of what he gets is organic.

I eat cereal every day. I can't think of the last time I ate eggs & bacon and waffles & pancakes. I lose weight quickly if I eat cereal and a fruit each day. lmao

I love cereal and eat it nearly every day. It is so simple to fix in the mornings and isn't anything too heavy on the stomach.
