So, how many glass of water do you drink each day? 2? 4? or 8?

    I do not drink water.

I get really annoyed when people claim that soda dehydrates you because if that was true I would be literally dead, so clearly it must be a myth.

I don't keep track of how much water I drink but I drink a LOT of water. I only drink juice with meals and I quit soda back in August. 2 months strong lol.

I love water, always makes me hydrated and feel good.

Just some links for you to read. Be upset with me all you want for refuting you but I'm just concerned with other human's health as well.

    Things I did not say:

    1. Soda is healthy.
    2. Water is unnecessary.

All I'm saying is that the simplistic "soda dehydrates you" is ******** because I have gone very, very long without drinking water and I am not dead. Therefore, considering when you're not drinking anything you literally die within days, the conclusion is that the particular myth that I was talking about (once again, the myth that's completely unrelated to your links) is BS.

You're welcome not to drink soda; however, your advice on my health considering your lack of knowledge of the first thing about me is unnecessary.

I posted the links so you could consider drinking water. Sorry for offending you once again. Sigh... >.>

I might drink a glass of water... every 3 days... But I used to drink 6L of milk per week.

Now I try to drink more water, I might drink 2 or 3 glasses a day.

I drink a lot of tea and coffe too..

I have a lot of 600ml water bottles at home, I generally try to drink at least one of them per day.

Alfieri is right, though. Soda (Pepsi, Coke, Mt. Dew, etc) does dehydrate you. Not in the typical 'crawling through a desert need a drink now' kind of way, but in the 'my urine is darker than it should be and I want another glass of soda now' kind of way.

I don't really keep track. Some days I drink a lot of water, other days I flat out don't drink any. I don't really like water though. I only drink it if I feel the need to or there isn't anything else to drink. ^^"

My apartment's tap water smells funny (can't be bothered to spend money on bottled either), so I only drink water when I'm at restaurants or back at my parent's place. I'm sure the assortment of juices and iced tea I drink have enough water if that counts for anything.

I seldom drink water on its own. It makes me retch unless I'm particularly thirsty, maybe from what purification plants do to it.

    I drink water sometimes.

I would drink it significantly more if tap didn't taste like ass in my town. Eugh. It would also help if my ****head brother didn't drink and piss away every ounce from the filtered pitcher without refilling the damn thing.

You might have gunk in your sink's drain which is causing the water to have that odor. Might want to get that checked if it's a concern.

I had no idea this was a thing people said. I've heard people say that alcohol dehydrates you which is actually true, but I've never heard that soda dehydrates you. I believe water is a key ingredient in soda anyway.

I learned to drink water only when I feel the need to.
I probably get almost 1 liter of water from fruit and other foods daily anyways, so the need to actually drink water is lessened; since I do physical activity daily, I still get to drink at least another liter of bottled ( glass ) water.

I usually drink water during meals or when I just feel very thirsty. When I'm out at a restaurant, however, I'll be getting some type of soda, just so the occasion feels just that bit more special :3

I used to drink lots of water. Then I found coffee. I still probably drink about 1 glass of water a day though.

Yeah, even in this thread. It is the silliest thing - it's one of the reasons I have so little trust when anyone says anything about soda, honestly. Everyone parrots this fact like it's true and I know it's not from experience soooo how much else on webMD and all those other sites are just misunderstood studies or urban legends??

I drink a bottle of Willow water most days. It's basically just water from the lake district. It's just so nice and I prefer it to any other water but I can only get it at this really expensive service station near the lake district so I make my dad buy them in bulk when he goes in that direction. I don't really drink tap water.
