FireRed hack: Pokémon Vega (and Altair/Sirius) - English Version

Finally I decided to play this wonderful Hack, but I am in trouble
I should catch Dialga and Palkia, but they don't appear
I don't want to think that happens because I archived the condition to spawn them in the Postgame...

I gave this hack a shot, and while I love the style of it, I kinda lost interest at the Water gym. I was doing a run where I only used Pokemon added by the hack, and that turned out to be a fatal mistake for me. I went with the Water starter, had a Frozaiden, Jamberrie, and a Hornikel. The Water gym leader wiped the floor with me. My Jamberrie was too slow to do much of anything, and once Hornikel was KOed, I was done for. So yeah, dont go for the Water starter.

Other than that, I do wish the TMs were reuseable cause that might have helped me out some. Then again, I didnt have any useful TMs up to that point.

I understand that the difficulty in Vega can be a real pain, my suggest would be to play Vega Minus as it has a more balanced approach and lowered levels. Hope this helps!

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get Vega to work on an Everdrive please? I have a the working patched rom playing on emulator but my everdrive crashes on the intro cut-scene. I read this was an issue before and some made a patch to it but Vega had been updated since then and that patch doesn't appear to work. Cheers in advance :)

Updated my hardware fix patch! This was very lightly tested, so let me know if something else is wrong.

Hello! Is there any version of Altair and Sirius with the physical special split? Greatest fakemon ever created. I played Vega 8-9 times already!

If anybody else has had issues with emulator compatibility and gotten the black screen after the title animation, I've found that "John GBAC" for Android and "VBA-M" for pc/mac work best so far. Hopefully this saves people the 45 minutes it took me to find something compatible and up-to-date.

I'm in need of help! I just beat the 6th gym and then went to rescue the person in the ice caves and got the old amber. Before going to talk to the old man at the broadcast station to get the meteorite, I exchanged the old amber for an Aerodactyl. Now the old man won't give me the meteorite and I'm worried that I'm completely stuck. Can I get another old amber? Can I use a cheat code to get out of this situation? Help!!

I resurrected the Old Amber before talking to the guy at the broadcasting station and I managed to get the Aura Stone. I think what you have to do is to talk to the scientists blocking the way north of Ravenplume first (perhaps after you finish with Mt. Snowfall). Try talking to every single scientist there, then you might be able to get the Aura Stone from the broadcasting station.

Anyways, here's my text walkthrough for this hack which I'm sure covers just about everything except for certain movesets. I also have a text walkthrough for Altair/Sirius too.

I just downloaded this and it appears there is no phys spec split, is it actually in the game as a comment from years back says its there but I dont see evidence of it via the phys/spec split icons as said icons arent there.

Vega has the split but Altair/Sirius does not.

This game is said to be a sequel to Sirius/Altair but I'm noticing it popping up on Youtube with no mention of Sirius/Altair leading me to assume it's being played as a standalone. Is this alright or must one play Sirius/Altair first?

The OP has a written summary of the Altair/Sirius story so you could read that if you don't want to play it, but still get caught up on things.
