[Merchandise] Pokemon Purchases Megathread

I am a pullip doll collector and was recently admiring a listing for a pullip doll on eBay and Mercari that is wearing a Pikachu costume. It's not an official release by Groove, but a fan made one. They took the pullip Sailor Venus doll and partially customized it by rechipping the eyes to be a pretty gold color, added false eyelashes and I they also rewigged the doll, and of course added this handmade Pikachu outfit that looks like cute fleece pajamas with a hood.



I wasn't very impressed by Sailor Moon Groove collaboration as sold in stores. The quality was notorious for being cheaper than their other dolls with paper for earrings and vinyl skirts, which was especially egregious considering the inflated price because it was Sailor Moon. Also there weren't enough accessories in the doll stock, i.e missing wands, no silence glaive for Sailor Saturn, no changes outfit like Rei's Shinto shrine maiden costume. So I took a pass on them, but I really like what this doll collector did to their pullip sailor Venus, and I'm really tempted to buy it from them. I could cave.

Is it just me? Do other Pokemon fans think she is a cute Pikachu girl?

My cousin got me the Sitting Cuties Dunsparce! Now I've got official plushes of my top three favorite Pokémon! :D

Now if only official Mothim plushes existed...

The cereal is pretty awful tbh (by which I mean hyper sugary cardboard that's definitely made for kids.. but people who are into that may enjoy it!) and mine didn't come with cards, but I'm still keeping the box for fun since I can store cards in it lol.

Hmm it was either a physical copy of Pokémon Moon or a pair of costumes for a party I went with an ex girlfriend. Can't remember which was last.

So yeah, a pretty long time ago.

Most recent would be a Switch to get Let's Go Eevee. I thought it would be fun to be able to connect Pokemon Go with it since I played Go a lot more then, but I didn't know much more about it. I was pretty disappointed it was a Kanto remake when I booted up the game. Then to find out you don't even battle the wild Pokemon, which is one of my favorite ways to train up, and I was quite disappointed. I dropped the game for awhile until recently I finished out the story line just to have finished it.

Probably the copy of Pokemon Shield + DLC that I bought a few months back to do monotype runs and farm legendaries. Hopefully soon it'll be a preorder of one of the new pokemon games

The limited edition Bea and Hitmontop figures I found it the cheapest on Amazon JP. Can't wait for it to arrive on Tuesday!

I also got a hitmontop charm ordered for my necklace. I need to replace my salamence mega stone charm cos it's dyed blue from all my hair dying xD

It was Pokemon Moon back in December 2020. I found a sealed copy for a very good price so I decided to buy it since I only have Sun and Ultra Sun and I wanted to play through Alola again without having to delete my old saves from those two Sun versions.
