There's usually a food we just try our best to avoid consuming. Whether it be lettuce, onion, garlic, or the classic broccoli. Now, tell me:

    - What's this food you don't like..?
    - Why don't you like it
    - Do you know who introduced you to them?

That last one might be a bit hard, but the first 2..

Well, I absolutely despise tomatoes. I can't have a bite or a taste without gagging :(

Tsk Tsk tsk, tomatoes are really healthy, you know that! :o

I didn't like them at first either, though. I love having tomatoes in salad, and use them in cooking quite a lot, but yeah I still don't enjoy eating just a tomato. XD Man there were so many things I didn't like when I was little. Shrimps, olives, you name it, hated it as a kid, lovin' it now.

The only thing I absolutely can't eat are Kwi Kwi (a type of fish) and mussels. My uncle loves mussels, and I've tasted them countless times when I was visiting him. But yeah, I really have troubles eating them. XD And yeah, I keep trying them, because he doesn't always use the same cooking method.

Kwi Kwi is a type of fish my mom used to make. I've eaten it at others' too, but it was always prepared in the same way, a heavy massala curry. Note that fish and masala wil already make me queasy, let a alone a nasty tasting fish like this...

I used to hate eggplants too, with a burning passion. XD But recently my stepmom managed to make a dish with baked potatoes and eggplant that actually tastes good!

I am glad that I like the majority of the more common ingredients. Variety is the spice of live. =)

I can't stand anything that's been pickled. It's probably the overwhelming vinegar flavor, but I consistently avoid pickles on my sandwiches and burgers, and I much prefer fresh jalapenos to jarred ones.

Eggs. Eeeeeggs -shakes fist- I've never liked eggs of any sort, and that shall never change.

    Cucumbers are gross IMO.

Red onions are pure evil. They're so friggin' strong, so even when they end up in something by accident, the taste remains even after you take them out ><

And finally, walnuts. I don't dislike them taste-wise, but I'm horribly allergic. Taking the title of the thread literally, I probably actually would die if I ate them.

Nuts and spicy peppers. Nuts because I am allergic and I never liked the taste, even before I knew I was allergic and spicy peppers because I don't like anything really spicy.

I don't really remember the first time and I had them who introduced me to them; most likely my parents.

Haha, you should meet my friend. She absolutely hates tomatoes, full stop. XD

Personally, I hate olives and mint. Olives are just sour and mint reminds me of toothpaste. Too fresh to handle imo. :p

Lettuce, onion, garlic, broccoli?? ...They are all amazing foods and they help you stay healthy!! Eat them!!
Anyways, the food I don't like is definitely meat, any kind of meat.
It's gross, disgusting! In order to not rot straight away, and in order to make it chewable, they have to do all kinds of things to it, otherwise it would be impossible to eat; the meat most people get to eat comes from animals in bad conditions.
What's worse, most of the animals in those conditions are also really scared/agitated, and, moments prior to their death, can mean the adrenaline will still be present in their bodies, which then you get to eat. There are many, many other things about meat that I don't like, but I will stop here.
Obviously, I was introduced to meat products by my parents, and I always had to cover the meat I'd eat with all kinds of sauces, because I could not stand the disgusting taste, and how it felt in my mouth. It was not until later, when I grew up, that I finally started to educate myself on the matter, and thus never ate it anymore.

Onions are disgusting. I hate the smell, and I hate the taste of them. I always ask for no onions on my burgers/sandwiches. lol

Garlic and onions are my enemies. They have too strong a taste and it's not even a good one...Even though I'm vegetarian, there's actually not a lot of them that I eat besides broccoli, green beans, and a couple others that I don't remember XD My mom says that I'm a picky eater though.

I can't stand Meatloaf. Every time I take a bite, I start to gag and spit it out. It's so gross and... ugh. That's probably the one thing I can't stand. I used to hate peas, but I mixed them with my potatoes once, and now I can tolerate them.

I hate tomatoes too. It's the texture and odd taste that bothers me. I like tomato sauce and ketchup, but I can't stand tomatoes by themselves.

I try not to be a picky eater - I mean, there's foods I don't like but I'll generally eat them anyway so as to not be a pain in the ass to whoever's serving me food (unless I'm at a restaurant and have a choice in what to eat), but the one thing that literally makes me gag is ginger. I don't know why it is, but I just can't stand it.

It's a common spice in Chinese dishes and I'm Chinese, so it ends up on my plate a lot. My mom always tries to get me to eat it because it's good for you, but I just can't stomach it.

I really don't like pickles, they ruin burgers :( I like onions though.

I also hate Caramel and Coconut. I can't really think of much else though, I love most foods ^__^

Personally, I despise the taste of garlic. They're way too much bitter. Love their smell, though. :P Besides that, I also don't like coconut.

Onions are disgusting. I hate the smell, and I hate the taste of them. I always ask for no onions on my burgers/sandwiches. lol

I'm the exact same way teehee. I absolutely despise them and it doesn't help that my mom loves them and cooks with them nearly every night haha. I always have to pick the little onion bits out of my food because they are just so atrocious to me :(

I eat pretty much anything I'm given whether I like it or not, but I guess I don't like raw onion or raw potato because...they're raw and don't taste very nice.

I still remember once when I was younger, my mum put a bowl of cut raw potato on the bench and I had a bite of one, thinking it was apple. Didn't taste very good x3
