Well the Sin Archbishop of Sloth completely creeps me out. I like how they found his makeup stuff in his pockets though lol.

I wonder if Satella chose Subaru to be Pride? I mean being essentially immortal and seemingly clairvoyant/prophetic can lead to an inflated ego. Not to mention, his initial struggles with the other characters resulted a lot from his own pride. His pride making Emilia grow distant from him, his pride conflicting with Julius, his pride and self-centredness that Anastasia and Crusch noticed and thus distrusted him. It was only when he overcame his pride and his subconscious selfishness did he finally see progress in the timeline.

I kept thinking there was a possibility of Betelgeuse coming back alive but not anymore after the twins rekt him lol. While Subaru's thinking of keeping the Gospel good for info, I can see that also bring trouble as Ram appeared at the end. Probably going to have to explain why he has the Gspel with him in order to get out of the barrier.

I feel like maybe his power would come from him being Pride? But of course I'm not sure. I feel like it would make a lot of sense that he would be Pride. I also read somewhere that maybe all of the Archbishops are named after stars, and Subaru's name fits that pattern. This would be a choice of the author, however, and not a part of the universe itself.

There's a good chance all the followers are the same kind of crazy, but only one at a time is the archbishop with the fully actualized powers + personality.
...or I'm dumb and its magic can nab ya' if you poke around the book and that's why there only appears to be the one despite everybody supposedly getting a copy. Return by Book vs Return by Death.

It'll probably become obvious soon enough though ;*)

This show makes me feel so weird, but I think I ultimately like it. It gives me a sense of fear I have never felt before. Normally I'd avoid this kind of anime because I don't really like violence or blood, but I got into it because my group of friends started talking about it and I wasn't in the loop, so I gave it a chance.

I couldn't sleep after I watched episode 15... That big Puck with glowy eyes and anger just... Creeped me out to the point I couldn't sleep that night. Literally.

All I can really say is "what a twist". I think this show's starting to troll all of us with the stuff it pulls, but I must know more. I guess the body jump stuff is true, but not in the method I expected. I won't say any more, all I'll say is I was pleasantly surprised. Now, I'll sssh up.

Damm that end, just as Subaru was finally able to have things go well that happens. If Subaru is actually dead and resetting, will bettlegeuse still be inside him after the respawn? and at what point would it respawn.

Emelia fight scene was really nice and the dialogue was interesting during the fight. Cannot wait for next ep. Do not want season to end T_T

It seems novels 9 and 10 are coming in September and October, which means more anime material for a future second season.
Hopefully they decided to adapt the EX novels into OVAs as well, and we have more time for some novels to be released.

I REALLY hope Natsuki doesn't have to start over again from some super far back point now that Julius most likely killed him. If it's before the White Whale battle, I'm gonna be so sad, because that took so much effort. Also I feel like Natsuki is completely blind to Rem because of his stupid feelings for Emilia (who I kinda hate at this point), her confession is beautiful and yet the first thing that comes out of Natsuki's mouth is freakin "I love Emilia". There's a reason this man is a lone wolf otaku back in the real world lol
