I'm cold with him because I don't exactly like him either. I'm kinda love/hate with him and Emilia. I don't like Emilia because of the way she treats Subaru (there, I said his first name), I mean she seems kinda clueless and she rarely appears now even though she's supposedly a main character. I feel bad for Subaru, but some of the things he does...oh boy how they piss me off.

Btw after catching up, Felix (or Felis as the sub says) is slowly growing on me. First off, he's adorable af, he's a healer, and he makes me laugh whenever he says "nyao" or something.

The fact that Kirito and Betelgeuse are voiced by the same person SHOCKS ME.

Everything is going so well this episode. Betelgeuse got trolled hard by Subaru too after all he's gone through to get here. :P

I've really enjoyed this few months following this show. I won't ever forget this one.

I love Julius so much, his friendship with Subaru is adorable. That was a very epic battle between him and Mr. Insane Archbishop at the end. Seeing him float around without any visible hands though... hilarious in the eyes of Mimi and her brother. omg x'D

Well as a anime only watcher I am happy with the way things ended. It's just great seeing how mature Subaru has become over the course of this series. Betelgeuse had it rough finding out that the witch rejected him (but then again, he deserved something as cruel after what he he did in episode 15 to Rem >>: )

A nice romantic end with Subaru and Emllia ;) Looking forward to a season 2 if there is one in the future.

I just purchased the first LN volume. It will be a while before we catch up with the anime version, but it's better than nothing.

I haven't heard about this in any detail, but supposedly Subaru says something really important a few moments after where the season finale left off that leads to a downhill spiral of bad stuff happening. Don't spoil it for me, that's just what I heard. I'm so worried right now, and I absolutely can't wait for season 2! :)

I'm seeing a lot of upset people but personally I loved this ending. It was difficult enough handling all of the torture for 24 straight episodes and seeing Subaru happily on Emilia's lap at the end almost made me like the pairing, haha. Sure wish Rem wasn't shafted there though but I'd rather that than ending on what was supposed to happen to her and Julius right around where the anime ended (iirc).

9/10 for sure.

For sure, I definitely agree. I don't like Emilia with Subaru, but I still thought the ending was good and it's what both the characters and the fans needed. It's a relief to have episodes where everything is going right. I felt pain nearly every previous episode where Rem (favorite character and best girl for Subaru imo) would die brutally. The worst ones for me were the deaths in episode 15, the one where Betelgeuse twisted her body up, and the one where she got erased by the White Whale. THE EMOTIONAL PAIN. Anyways, if there's anything I've learned from anime, it's that everything's about to go very wrong next season since this one had such a perfectly happy ending.
