Spell check on that?

I can spell any word so long as I'm typing it or writing it.
If you ask me to spell it from my head, it's much harder.

Occasionally used to be difficult until I started typing it out more. Silhouette is the same way. I struggled to type it there but I got it first try, so I'm learning. Notoriety is one I just got wrong, spelling it Noteriety through phonetics. Hmm... I'm sure there are other words out there that I have trouble with but none are coming to mind. Some really old words I used to have trouble with are:

Restaraunt
Convenience
Exuberant (I always wanted to put an H in there for some reason)

But I haven't had issue with these words in quite a few years. Just thought they'd be fun to share.

I seriously had to do a search right now to confirm that there truly was NOT a letter "H" in exuberant XD

Another one I liked to add H to is coalition. I want to spell it like cohorts. And to make it more butched I would throw another letter I in there because it sounded like people were pronouncing it as co-hill. I have literally written comments like. We are a diverse cohilition

This reminds me of another one I have struggled with in the past, acquaintance.

I'm so glad that it's not just me, haha. It seems like there should be. Exhuberant just feels right but it's not.
 
Restaurant is definitely one for me as well. Exercise is also a problem for me, though I'm starting to get the hang of it. One of the ones that I always seem to struggle with spelling is necessary. I think it's mostly the way it sounds that confuses me. I can't spell that word for the LIFE of me. ;o;

I get forgiven for everything, of course, since I'm not a native English speaker. Nevermind that I've been here and writing long roleplays in this language for over a decade now...
 
Padparadscha Is something I never even attempt to spell, I literally just copied and pasted it here for your reference because it's too hard. To make it even more confusing people spell it different ways, I have seen the letter C dropped altogether. Luckily I don't have to use this word often, it's not like I own any. I normally just say pink sapphire. They are pretty though!

This is without spell check and it's how this word always comes out when I try. I was spelling it so wrong at one point spell check wasn't even recognizing it and I had to google the word.
 
There are so many words I can't spell consistently. Here are just a few examples:

"Restaurant." Whenever I have to spell this, I think it's "resterant."

"Definitely." Ever since I was a kid I spelled it "defiantly."

"Androgynous" This word can be particularly difficult. Without a reference, I spell it "androgenous."
 
I always need spell check for words like necessary and occur. Can never remember which letter's supposed to be doubled up lmao.

Renaissance would get me from time to time too.
