Chit-Chat: Supporter Hangout Daily Chit-Chat

Anyone else having problems with the supporter email? I haven't even gotten spam in over a week and upon further testing the only emails I'm receiving come from myself.
We are having some trouble with e-mails from PC in general since the server move. Working on it!

I hope this forum isn't like the reddit redesign where they roll it out to a few people before forcing it on the site at large.

Because this is painful.

EDIT: oh god what happened to my signature

I don't like the way web design is going these days overall, everything feels so crowded and unfriendly to people who are disabled.

obviously there are kinks to be worked out with the new ui

but of course, it's not going to be up everyone's alley in particular, but the same can be said for the old UI. imo there's only like 2-3 old ui skins even worth using anymore; the rest feel like im time traveling back in like 2008-era at best and i'd rather not.

I still find the new UI a pain to navigate through at times :(

Im used to everything apart from the part where i cant select what page to go to on a thread from the section itself

I am disabled myself and if I have trouble using this site after using the internet since the dial up era then I wonder how hard it would be for other people. It just feels overwhelming and confusing where everything is layout wise.

My local library updated their site and it's such a mess now for example.

I'm really not a fan of Reddit's design at all. @__@ It's so crammed together and enlarged and... just a nightmare for me, haha.

But I'm more or less at home with PC's new UI, at least! It took a while though. :b

Yeah PokeCommunity is not nearly as bad as Reddit's new design. I know it's to make it more mobile friendly without the app but it makes stuff a confusing mess for both places.

As the new owners are keen on making a more mobile friendly interface, you should take the opportunity to message them with suggestions!

@gilpom on our Discord server.

I don't mind a mobile design as long as it doesn't replace non-mobile options completely. It just makes more sense to me to have a lot more stuff visible when you're on a PC with a mouse cursor that is a lot more precise compared to a mobile device where you need to have all the buttons and links big enough so you can actually touch them.

Until the admins force us to use the new UI, I have no intention of switching to it; though I do like the post editor.

I'm using it because it works a lot better on my phone and the index doesn't crash either.
