Abra is creepy, I am not a fan of it! I don't like the line in general haha, I think the Espurr line is a much better "psychic cat" family than the Abra family.

So... We're on Abra's now? Personally I think it's quite interesting fellow, I remember I used to find its Teleporting interesting. It's funny that one of the reason I catch it back then is so that I can flee, Abra-style.

I recall catching an Abra in Ruby and I don't even recall if I had a move that was able to shut it down. But thank god for Quick Balls making them much easier to catch now.

Ditto. Lately I keep relying on Quick Balls every time I spotted a Pokémon as well. If the Quick Ball fails, I should resort to different plan.

I feel like Mega Alakazam's ability is such a huge downgrade, particularly if said Alakazam had its best ability (the hidden ability Magic Guard) prior to going Mega.

Alakazam actually has Magic Guard. The only Pokemon that get Magic Bounce are Xatu, Espeon, Mega Sableye, Mega Absol, and Mega Diancie.

Yeah it barely looks shiny. This is what I despise about shiny Pokemon whose coloring as a shiny is not very drastic compared to the original colors.

Mmm agreed. How much cooler would a blue Abra be? Or... ok no actually now that I think about it I can't think of a single other colour that'd suit Abra. Even blue is pushing it a tad... maybe a pink base with purples instead of the browns? Might try sprite this soon...

Sometimes I'm wondering if Abra is as blue as Mew when it's shiny (light blue, to be specific), would it do any good? Sometimes I have no idea what's the ideal color for shiny Pokémon.

I feel for all those green shinies who people tend to hate because they claim green is an "ugly" color for shiny Pokemon. I think it's kinda cool, but it depends on the shade you use.

It totally depends on the Pokémon, as well as a little opinion. By the way, a purple Abra would probably look good.
