The Count To Infinity - v12

AI art sometimes creates some funny stuff, but I haven't looked at it in a long time.

AI art looks good on the first glace. And then you realize that all AI art looks the same. Also, of course, the moral/copyright implications.

The key word here being "on the first glance". Generally AI-generated humans have many problems, in particular the number of fingers on their hands XD
I don't know what to think about the copyright implications of AI art. I feel like a piece of art can be copyrighted, but the "style" of an artist cannot (and is not). I understand that it's an unfair competition, but... but I don't know what to think lol.

And I spend too much time talking to chat bots lol. Most of them struggle to keep more than 10 messages in memory, and you often end up with an AI that forgets what persona it was supposed to be.

I feel like we're in the same stage with AI that the internet was in 1993/94; existent and definitely a curiosity. But not quite mainstream yet. How societies and governments react to it could very well define how the rest of the 2020s and the 2030s play out.

I don't know how revolutionary chatGPT actually was, because i think that maybe there were other things capable of doing the same. However chatGPT went pretty viral and since then I have seen muvh more discussion on AI, much more curiosity by any kind of people (so, not only people interested in technology) and AI being something mentioned or a work in progress of many many companies

A.I imitating a persons voice can be odd. As it improves I fear we'll end up seeing the negative consequences of it too.
Indeed. The future of things like voice AI and Deepfake imaging are absolutely terrifying.

Propaganda will be rife and bad actors will get people accused of crimes they never commited.

We can trust no one 😭
