I stopped letting other people's opinions of me dictate who I am or how to behave long ago.
There was an eye-opening incident, that I don't feel like disclosing in public, for me while I was still a child.
Let's just say certain people are no longer a part of my life.

I used to not care about what others think of me, and then I realised I was becoming too "weird" (or, say, "unique") to have a "normal" girlfriend, so now I do care.
Better late than never I guess.

I'd prefer a 'weird' or 'unique' girlfriend to a 'normal' one anyday personally lol.
Plus, I've had plenty of 'normal' people treat me like garbage for just trying to be myself for far too long that I truly just don't care anymore about what others think of me, if no one is capable of loving the freak that I am, I guess I'll just die alone.
