When I was a little kid I saw Mario Galaxy on a store shelf for $20. I was like "Mom, this is a great deal"! and she bought it for me.

Then I didn't even like the game. Played it for a while anyways. Mom could have kept the $20.

I dunno why but the only one that 'clicks' with me is sunshine.

I was lucky enough to get my copy of Galaxy for $15 cause I knew a good used games store back home. I figured that was the norm because it's just such an iconic game and isn't new anymore.

Mario galaxy 2 is the best!

Galaxy 2 is really interesting to me, I think everyone agrees it's a good game but I've seen a variety of opinions on it. Some think it's much better, some think it's not as good. Some of the changes such as a simplified story and the world map structure don't agree with me, but the more straight-forward path through a lot of the levels and extra things like Comet Medals and Yoshi are really great. I think Galaxy 2 is the most fun I've had using Yoshi.
Its soundtrack is also wonderful, I especially love Puzzle Plank and Melty Monster!
I just don't think I'd take it over the original Galaxy since there are a lot more levels with less stars in Galaxy 2, compared to the more stars per level in the first game. I think it's totally personal preference and they're both great though. Are you going for every star?

Mario Galaxy 2 isn't on Super Mario 3D All Stars so I won't be playing it =P
The first one is very enjoyable, just a bit of wonkyness from playing it on a Lite that stops it from being amazing.
It's a lot more fun to play than Sunshine at any rate.

I've enjoyed Mario Kart basically my whole life, MK8 especially. I played it a bunch online when I graduated high school and spent a bunch of time practicing and getting better at 200cc. When the DLC packs dropped my boyfriend and I would play each pack as it came out and I think it's become an incredibly solid game because of all its additions over time. I'm excited for if they ever make a new one and just how they could possibly top it.

My older brother has been playing online mario kart since 7 and still plays mk8dx even after he graduated college, he always beats me whenever we play together, lol

Hi Starlight!

I played Double Dash for basically the first time last year. It came out when I was really young and I think I only played it once or twice? I wanted to revisit it now that I actually know what a video game is, and I really enjoyed it! I'm with you.

I got Mario Kart 7 a couple years ago as a used copy. Didn't play that too much. I've also played one version on the Switch a couple years ago, too. That basically sums up my experience with that type franchise.
