I used to have the problem of: if any kind of streaming was done on the other computer here, my own internet would slow to a crawl. 2k+ latency in games was not unheard of then (although oddly enough, I swear it wasn't that bad until we had a lightning storm one night). Then Comcast actually offered us something slightly better, and uh. Yeah. Not going to post my speed though. X(

When I first moved into this place years ago though, all I had was the free wi-fi the building offered...yeesh. It wasn't quite as horrible as some of the internet I had to endure in college but it was still pretty bad. Especially when playing games. "Oh god I think I'm lagging again better mash buttons and hope no one diiiiiies!"

You guys are lucky you get low ping like that. Whenever I try to play games I can rarely get below 110 and it's so laggy aaa. Can't wait on our faster net to arrive.

When I first started playing Smite I had 990 almost every match. I had to use a crappy ping booster that worked but since it was the free version made me crash every 20 minutes. Once day I accidentally forgot to open the ping booster but I only realized half way through the game and I was like "oh hey I don't need it anymore :D"

I used to play LoL a lot and I'd have ping shoot up to like 220 which was unplayable(usually due to shitty rito servers) but I too tried the ping booster and it helped it drop ~30. Too bad only a month was free.
