I used to have the problem of: if any kind of streaming was done on the other computer here, my own internet would slow to a crawl. 2k+ latency in games was not unheard of then (although oddly enough, I swear it wasn't that bad until we had a lightning storm one night). Then Comcast actually offered us something slightly better, and uh. Yeah. Not going to post my speed though. X(
When I first moved into this place years ago though, all I had was the free wi-fi the building offered...yeesh. It wasn't quite as horrible as some of the internet I had to endure in college but it was still pretty bad. Especially when playing games. "Oh god I think I'm lagging again better mash buttons and hope no one diiiiiies!"
