The Darkest Dungeon

IN THE DUNGEON - 9
The Arbalist fired; the Jester played; the Leper prayed; the Crusader became enraged; the Prophet counted his chains, "One, two, three, and four...". Others sat waiting.

The Heroes felt the Earth shake beneath them. One level below was what they had given blood and lives for.

The Darkness.

As they entered the final hallway, they prepared themselves for the machinations of the Dungeon to try to drag them into the abyss.

The End was nigh.

Hm...I see. Two damage to the Bounty Hunter, the guy who hadn't been attacked the whole game, the day after I RR. Looks like there really is another evil in our midst not named Golgari.

Specifically, I'd assume it's one of two people: Mana and Gimme. I'm leaning more towards Gimme since he attacked me for no particular reason despite that I was in a pretty precarious position and, regardless of whether he actually is scum or not, Golgari was the better target considering his supposed constitution. That, and Gimme's alignment has yet to be revealed. Still, Mana did this same thing...and on top of that I took 15 damage yesterday. I get that my posts were two each (so 6 in post damage), but that means I took 9 attack damage otherwise. Mana's attack isn't 7 (proven at least yesterday) and Mana was also confirmed inno, so Gimme's definitely not "just" a villager. Important, because even if the item did have a "dark" effect, it wouldn't have taken effect until the daytime.

The worst of it is that even if I wasn't the Bounty Hunter, someone still attacked them after I RRed, so even if they didn't absolutely know it was me, it was basically a shot in the dark that they hoped hit the mark.

So yeah, [ATTACK] Gimmepie. I gotta go to work.

Macho/Ullion no :(. Why would you waste your vote so damn quickly for different people. There are few of us now, and the Prophet will soon win if we don't think. We need to work out if he's a threat or if here's some other role.

Which fool attacked an innocent rather than Golgori? Since apparently I'm the only one to have done so... ):

Does anyone have an interesting item? I got poisoned :/ damn shellfish.

I'm with machomuu here. The only question is, can we defeat both gimmepie and Golgari? And more importantly, did the Prophet (Golgari) predict gimmepie's death? Because if he did, we should kill Golgari first.

People, it was part of the Giant role that when I died I got to come back later as a vanilla villager. It was compensation for the automatic role-reveal. I'm an ordinary villager, I only do three damage.

If by some chance I'm evil, I wouldn't know because my status as villager and my stats were the only information given to me.

I predicted my own death, because I had a feeling that heroes would tunnel vision and pull some heavy damage out of their asses.

Honestly the fact that other innos took damage instead of me just proves that I'm not the evil you need to kill, there is someone else among us.

Well it's you or Gimme :) Read the roles confirmed + people.

Gimme was dead and resurrected recently, that implies the suspect is you.

I'm not sure whether I'd like to put money on your power working for yourself - if you're dead, surely you can't still win even if you predicted your own death. Seems like a bluff to me to make avoid killing you.

Does anyone have an offensive weapon from the last event? Anything to damage someone this day phase.

I'm going to repeat what I said last day phase:
DO NOT TRUST WHAT GOLGARI SAYS

-> It's BS if he could guess his own death and still win. He's likely hoping we would turn and kill gp first in hopes we say to ourselves "Hey gp is easy to kill and could likely be the last actual evil. Let's kill him and THEN go after golgari".
->Which let's face it, it IS a very good point and I'd be willing to do that if the Prophet weren't a thing in this game. As such, we seriously should focus Golgari down first. With him dead, if the game doesn't end then we kill gp (or someone is fooling us).

I honestly think every day from now on we should all be focusing on Golgari (including gp). Unless some information does come to light as to who/if someone is BSing us and we can go for them instead. Which is still risky if Golgari is still alive, since he could just use his NA guess on the suspect. :/

I can believe that Golgari predicted his own death, because he was the main one on the chopping block yesterday, and the gimmepie thing didn't come to light until after the night phase was over. I'm just not convinced that he can still win by predicting his own death. If he can, then I'm calling shenanigans on this whole game.

So I say we kill the Golgari.

[attack] Golgari

Out of interest, does anyone other than me have an attacking night action? -1 isn't much good in trying to kill someone...

Have all of us (confirmed) innocents had our attack strengths confirmed? I think it'd be really helpful if everybody revealed their attack powers (I know they were all probably already revealed at some point or another in the game, but sifting through 51 pages to compile such a list would take more time than I'm willing to dedicate to it).

My attack power is -4.

I take it thats you being 'enraged'? Useful! 22 damage to Golgari at the moment then.

[attack] Golgari

Make that 26 :3.
