[Event] The PokeCommunity Game-Along VI: Return of the Gaming

I just finished my 100% run of Minish Cap! It's the first time I've played it in years and I think it's a really interesting Zelda that feels completely unique if you decide to 100% it. Kinstone Fusion is a really interesting idea for a Zelda game and it means a lot of different things for the 100% run, like needing to know what points/people of interest you need to fuse with for specific things (like having a heart piece linked to any random Red Kinstone fusion, or six specific spots being required to finish the Goron Quest for the fourth bottle and needing to know what those are), and the entire game seems to throw huge quantities of rupees and mysterious shells at you on top of rewards for Kinstone fusion that made the hunt for all figurines very interesting, I had plenty of leftover rupees to exchange at the shop for shells by the end of it.
I think 100% Minish Cap was a really fun and interesting way to play a Zelda game, and it definitely slots into that kind of feeling I have for a game where I'm really glad I got to do it once in my life, but I can't see any reason I'd want to go and do it again. The game in general is just really good though, and it was especially neat picking up on a lot of its inspiration from Zelda 1.

Spent some of my afternoon and evening (yay day off) playing Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, and beat it! Was a fun enough experience, and clearly has a bunch of alternate paths and secrets about (figured out some of them). Some little bits of clunkiness, but I got all the characters and the ending from that. Wonder how much it all informs me on the main game I have for Bloodstained, haha.

I finally finished Zelda 2: Adventures of Link today. I did it ***deathless*** as well, through an unknown number of savestates LOL. I recall enjoying it a lot more the last time I played it, but didn't have a bad time or anything.

I finished Link to the Past yesterday. I had a great time with it, though there wasn't that much new to me in the game because I've played several other 2D Zeldas, especially The Minish Cap which is quite similar to it in gameplay. It was also on the easier side, as far as Zelda games go. The items in here were quite fun to use. A lot of them were magical, and it was interesting to play a Link that's much more of a spellcaster than in other games in the series.

FINALLY finished Dynasty Warriors 5, oh my god!!!! There isn't much in the way of specific credits when you finish all scenarios, so here is a screenshot of my completion of Zuo Ci's Musou Mode. He is the last character you unlock.

I picked this because I remember it being fairly quick... how very very very foolish of me. I've spent all month playing this, racking up this many hours:

It has been... a journey for sure! Overall it was enjoyable, but there was a LOT of frustrating moments. Definitely making sure I pick something nice and chill for May!
