Never seen that either. However I tend to avoid all-you-can-eat restaurants because I can literally eat 2 kg of food if left unsupervised.

i like the idea of all-you-can-eat places mostly because it gives me opportunity to try lots of things! its about the options rather than the quantity for me now. but it was a great choice of place for my parents to take us out when we were growing kids haha

i can eat so little so such places are seldom worth it to me - unless i just accept the cost in return for the many things you can try out, indeed c:

Hm... when it comes to pizza, here you can either go to "pizza al taglio" places, which make these huge pizzas with different toppings that you can take small squares / slices of, or... you can just grab your friends, go to a pizzeria, order one pizza each but then start swapping slices like there's no tomorrow ♥ it always leads to some fun times when deciding toppings that everyone will be happy to try haha

I tend to enjoy pineapple on a pizza with the right combo of other toppings.
My personal favorite being onions, green peppers & pineapple. (and maybe some feta cheese if I'm feeling a bit wild)

I'll admit that sounds gross even to me.
I've tried pineapple + meat on pizza before and it never tasted right.
I'll stick to pineapple + veggies thank you very much.

Pineapples growing in the wild look hilarious.

One more reason for pineapple supremacy.

Edit: And a thing I forgot to mention, (pizza) rodízio is usually about the same price as say, one of the more expensive combos from McDonald's.

They're generally cheap (~ 15 USD or so if we're guesstimating the exchange rate. With free refills).

Seems like the pineapplists are more active than the others.

Back in the olden days "apple" was kinda shorthand for fruit / veggie in general (hence why potato in french is Earth's apple).

So pineapple was like "fruit that looks like a pine", which is more or less the same origin of Spanish piña (and some of its colonies).

Brazil uses abacaxi and everybody else (possibly even European English) uses ananás, which both come from native terms for the fruit.

But the reason we're more active is simple: pineapple pizza gives you a boost of energy to post on Internet forums!
