Spent most of the day working on my assignment. The instrumental music in the background made it a bit more of a pleasant experience! I'm happy that I got the most major part of it drafted though as it took forever. But for now very excited to take a break for the rest of the night. Going to have dinner, drink bubble tea and finish reading my book :D

Some of my coworkers really like the rhethoric that "COVID has been around for years and it only stayed hidden because we didn't test for it" (basically just a variant of "COVID is just a flu").
I've looked around a bit to see if I could find some sources but alas! There was talk about COVID being around for a while but only infected animals until 2019 when it made the jump. (again: no sources(=papers))
I'm basically just trying to find something to debunk that claim because it annoys me. Seems like my internet searching skills have severely dulled. xD
