So today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States, where we all take a day to celebrate the things we're thankful for in our life. Could be family, friends, having a good job, a good teacher, a significant other, whatever it may be. We've all got things to be thankful for. Even if you don't live in the States and don't formally celebrate Thanksgiving, there's nothing wrong with stopping and appreciating the things you're thankful for, no matter what day it is :)

So, here's a thread dedicated to us giving a shout-out to all the things in our lives we're thankful for!

    Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!

I'm grateful to that special person. Lately I'm smiling again and I also feel happy again after months of depression. (: You helped on healing my wounds.

There are a lot of people I'd like to thank as well, like my stepmother, kid sis and other PC members (I don't wanna list, as I don't wanna miss a person, haha)!

    Oh and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I was wondering about this. XD Anyway, I'm thankful for a lot this year.

I'm especially thankful for my heroes Tsuzuku, Takeru and Jui for always being there for me. They've always cheered me up with their music, and they've also made me smile as well. It doesn't matter how down I am or how hard I'm struggling... they always make it okay again.

I'm also thankful for my boyfriend because I love him, and because he's always accepted me for who I am no matter what. My life would be so different without him in my life, and I'm so thankful we were able to find each other a year or so ago.

I'm thankful for a best friend & sister of mine too. She's amazing because she's always there, and we aren't blood-related either. Regardless, I still see her as a big sister because she's so sweet and kind. She puts up with my randomness and all my other ****. XD

I'm thankful for my other friends for putting up with me as well. I'm thankful for PC for showing me the right way to act. I don't think I would have learned so much as I have today if it weren't for coming to these forums. <3

Last but not least, I'm thankful for my family. Even though I can be a real ***** to them at times, I still love my parents. ^w^

I'm thankful for quite a few people and experiences!

In particular, my girlfriend of three years and the darker experiences years ago that tested my antifragility... which overall changed the course of my life. I'm also thankful for my time here at PC, though I obviously haven't been active in quite some time. My time as a mod/smod has helped with community development positions and "moderating in the real world," in fact! :D There's so many material and emotional things to be thankful for, too: our own apartment, the smells and foods we create, having a motorcycle and enjoying it despite all the haters, living a stable yet adventurous lifestyle. It's amazing what each of us go through on a daily or even yearly basis, and yet: it works out. There are certainly lows and tougher experiences, but as Aurelius put it: our obstacles are the way.

    Happy Thanksgiving ^__^

I'm thankful of course to all the usual things: my friends, my family for giving me a good upbringing, and everyone else who's helped me out in life here and there :)

But this year in particular I'm giving an extra special thanks for my new job, which I started last month. It's just such an amazing place to work, and the company values its employees so much, and I've worked at a lot of places where that wasn't the case, so it means a lot to me to work at a place like this! And I also have to show some appreciation to my old job, which came at a time when I was having a really hard time finding work. I just left it a month ago, but if it weren't for that job, I would have never gotten my current job, so I think I owe it some thanks for that!

Finally, all the great friends I've made on PC over the course of this year! You guys are awesome-sauce ;)

I want to thank my family, friends, and everyone else for being such encouraging and supporting figures throughout my life. Without them, I don't think I would've made it this far.

As of this year, thank you, dad and mum, for allowing me a second chance of studying overseas, for helping me with things I needed help with, and giving me helpful words of advice and encouragement. Thank you, younger brother, for being the best younger brother in the world. Thank you, friends, for helping me settle down in a new environment in a different country, for helping me feel at home, for accepting me as myself, and for simply being there for me through thick and thin. Thank you, lecturers and tutors, for professionally delivering your knowledge to us students and for willingly giving up your time to guide us with our assignments and to answer any queries that we might have had. Thank you, all my PC and online friends, for being amazing company and for all the great conversations we've had over the years. Thank you, BSS and server regulars, for without you, the battle server would never be where it is today. Thank you, PC staff team, for working so hard in keeping this place up and running smoothly. Last, but not least, thank you, PC members, for being such a great community.

All in all... I am just extremely grateful for everything. Thank you.

Im thankful for the usuals family, home, food, Happiness, friends

But I recently found that i have a really good life and should enjoy it and many things are the cause of that but mostly meeting new people and making new friends has made me a very happy individual

Also a special thanks to PC for hours of entertainment and meeting new people

I'm thankful that my mother and father are still with me, and my grandmother, brother and his fiancee as well.

I'm also thankful for my small group of friends that are all very supportive of one another, and if it wasn't for the school cafeteria, our 2DS/3DS systems, and love of anime, who knows where we would be now. I can't believe it's been over a year since I met y'all and I hope we can be friends forever. <3

I'm thankful for my loving family, my very close group of friends, and my new apartment.

Oh, and I guess you guys too.

Right now I'm particularly thankful to all the doctors, nurses, friends (on PC or otherwise) and family that have contributed to my gradual recovery and looked out for me during this time. I'm almost now and without each and every one of these people I probably would have found the nearest cliff and jumped because it's been hell.

Another one for PC too, because PC has become such an integral part of my life - it's this lovely online place where I can escape reality and where I have met so many amazing people. So big thanks to the entire community.

First and foremost, I want to thank my parents for giving me a chance to live in this world where peace welcoming we and all the basic things that they provide me (food, home, happiness). And also to my friends, thanks to all of you for sharing me your happiness and giving me a very great time. Also, SPECIAL THANKS TO PC!

I'm thankful for having family and friends who love and care about me. Everyone has been very supportive and always helped me get back up on my feet whenever I was feeling down. I learned from all of them that even though you have health conditions (I have a couple) you can still enjoy life to the fullest. Oh yes and I'm thankful for having my faith in God. Don't want to be leaving out the one who's been guiding me ever since I was born.

Haven't celebrated Thanksgiving before since I'm not from the US, but I'm thankful for my friends who have helped me get through, and my family for always providing for me even though sometimes I don't spend as much time with them as I should ._.
And of course that includes all of my wonderful friends here too!
Also thanks to my school and its teachers which I just left, since even though it wasn't the best it helped me learn a few things which I may or may not need in the future, and hopefully created a pathway for me to go to university :).

I'm thankful for having my family and friends by my side every step of the way. The love and support they gave me over the long years has helped me become the person that I am today.
