6th Gen What DON'T you want to see in ORAS

I know Hoenn had a lot of water, but maybe this time it could have just a little less water.. XD; The diving thing was really tedious, and I can't imagine doing it from the camera angles that we use now. >__>;;
 
I most definitely do not want to see an early-game Mega Evolution given to the player for free. That was uncool in XY because it's too easy to win if you have an absurdly powerful Mega that nobody else has. To my knowledge only three other trainers themselves had Megas! So yeah, don't do that again, in fact, how about no Megas at all in the main plot? Leave that stuff for the Frontier/Competitive.
 
I don't think towns will be big enough to warrant skates. Hoenn was super small map-wise, as opposed to Kalos being rather enormous in comparison. Hopefully it'll just be running shoes and maybe a bike.

Speaking of the bike, I don't think ramps and things should map an appearance. The Safari zone was the only place having an Acro bike was even moderately entertaining. The Mach bike being able to zip up the muddy slopes was cool, I suppose, but an odd, kind of pointless mechanic. One bike is all I need!

I'm fine with everything.

Make the E4 easier so I don't have to grind, and like someone said before, early mega evos aren't cool.
oh and don't do a direct remake of r/s/e, add in some stuff from Emerald, like Battle Frontier!

Seriously, I don't understand the point of these threads...

What people hate Scott?? This is actually news to me huh...I've always liked Scott and when he would randomly show up. I can't believe people don't like him.

I think people are spiting his anime version. His in-game presence was so minor there's really nothing to complain about.

Assuming this is actually a remake and not a sequel, you aren't really forced to catch Groudon/Kyogre. Have you actually played the originals? :(

So, somehow, the oceans of Hoenn dried up? Not exactly something I'd like to see, to be honest.

What I don't want to see is for it to be called ORAS. :p
 
To those of you not wanting contests: they're optional, you know. :P I'd love for them to return, just not forced like PokeWood is in BW2.

No no, not dried up.

I mean more like.. since time might've passed in Hoenn, maybe it'd have bigger towns / cities. Just so there's a little less water travel involved.
 
I wouldn't want to see contests UNLESS they get completely revamped and have a more important role in gameplay... maybe stat boosts? or something like that.
 
Gym Leader/Elite Four rosters left unchanged until post-game. Seeing type specialists using another type speicalist's ace Pokemon, 2-3 Pokemon from the same family, and Pokemon not associated with their type is my biggest pet peeve in the series, and this issue could be fixed if GF added more Pokemon of certain types.
 
May, we need a new rival.
 
There really isn't a lot that I don't want to see. I mean, these were the games I enjoyed the most when they came out. I LOVED them. All the water complaints are ridiculous to me, but I can see how it makes sense to some.

IF I had to pick one thing... Definitely the Wallace/Steven champion dispute. Steven was much harder to beat, and although I love Wallace I don't love him enough to want him to repeat as champion.
 
I don't want Wally to be a total loser this game. I mean sure sure, he was a winner to some extent but come onnnnn. I want him to do something relevant.

I agree, his entire character was just dropped off. He made it to the league but didn't challenge... why, exactly? He couldn't have been that discouraged by losing to you. :v
 
Well, here's my list of not wanting to see in the games.

- Wallace as the Champion. He freaking sucks!
- Sky Battles. ...then again, maybe Winona will be specializing in that. >.> Oh my, I sure hope not. <.<

...eh, I guess that's it. =/

and oh, if they're bringing back the Roller Skates, then i hope that we can PUT THEM OFF because I wanna use the circle pad for navigation!

This irks me so much, it's ridiculous.

The water routes are fine with me, you don't surf nearly that much in any other game so it makes it unique.

Other than that, I don't want Wallace, I want Steven.
