what seemingly insignificant thing enrages you the most?

People voluntarily listening to abba.

My, my, at Waterloo Napoleon did surrender
Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
Is always repeating itself

Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo

My, my, I tried to hold you back but you were stronger
Oh yeah, and now it seems my only chance is giving up the fight
And how could I ever refuse
I feel like I win when I lose

Waterloo - I was defeated, you won the war
Waterloo - Promise to love you for ever more
Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo

So how could I ever refuse
I feel like I win when I lose -

Waterloo - Couldn't escape if I wanted to
Waterloo - Knowing my fate is to be with you
Waterloo - Finally facing my Waterloo

I legitimately do voluntarily listen to abba on occasion hahaha, in fact let's do it now!

When someone sits next to me on the bus when there are plenty of other open seats. I like my nearby empty space. And then they start digging in their pockets/bag for their phone or something and their elbow brushes past me me and it's like ugh. first world problems.

taking public transport

people always walk too slow or cut in front of you on the escalator

people always stand in front of the doors

people always sit on the outter seat and leave the inner one empty

people always hold the doors and stand in the way

When someone doesn't tell you what's wrong, and they try to hide it from you. Especially when you're close to me. I don't care if you don't want to tell me, I need to know if everything's okay because if you don't tell me it drives me insane.

When you text me HOURS after I texted. If you don't reply to any of my texts after 1.5 hours I will consider our conversation dead and don't ask me why I didn't reply because I will ask you the same thing.

In addition to that, I do worry about people's safety. I absolutely HATE IT when you don't call/text me telling me that you made it safely to wherever you're going to. Whether it's home, school, work, etc. It's a scary world out there. It sets me off if you text me 3 hours later and it takes you a half hour to get to your desitnation. There are no excuses.

WOAH i went off a tangent sorryyyy

You and me both sister. Preach!

I get it though if they don't want to talk cause everyone handles their own emotions differently, but it can be frustrating when you want to help them and they give you the cold shoulder. Tough at times, but eh - what can you do?

LOL same, I get irrationally irritated when people sit next to me and accidentally touch me in any way.

One of the worst things tho, I'm kind of a small person so I usually don't take up my whole seat, especially if I'm in a window seat, I tend to scoot closer to and lean against the window side - I hate it when people sit down next to me and they take up part of my seat too, like what the hell that's my personal space. There's a clear line dividing the seats and showing where mine ends and yours starts.

I have so many bus gripes in general, like I also hate it when people are playing their music so loudly that I can hear it even when I am listening to my own music through headphones. I'm really sensitive/easily irritated by noise in general, so screeching children and loud cars are up there in terms of small things that annoy me.

When people yell, the type of yell that is used for power. You know, yelling to get someone to do whatever the hell you want them to do. That angers me the most.

In other words: being ordered around.

Oh my god yeah. I do the exact same thing. I always inch closer to the window when someone's about to sit next to me, to avoid making any physical contact.

uuuugh. indeed. People always tend to do this here, and a lot of the time they don't even apologize because they think it can't be helped/doesn't matter. ;(

On another note... this one person takes the same bus as me to work at the same time, and she's always doing this 'ahem' thing like every 2 minutes. Not sure if she realizes what she's doing or maybe she just can't keep it under control (which I understand), but it's annoying to have her sit nearby and keep doing that every morning. I wake early as shit & just want to nap in peace.

Couldn't you just plug in headphones to block out her throat clearing antics? The opposite usually happens to me when taking public transport hahaha, this one time guys. This one time, I got on a train and sat opposite to a fine looking lady. About a minute after the train departed, she briskly got up and walked over to another seat, ahhahahahahahahaa! In her defense it was in the evening and I was wearing my nightmarish attire and if my memory serves there were probably empty seats with no one else around I could have sat at. But still after she walked away I was just like FINE THEN, LOVE YOU TOO!!! <//////////////3

Things that don't necessarily require complaining, being complained about. Dutch people are very good at this and it's very annoying.

Those [EXPLICITIVES] that play their [EXPLICITIVE] music from their vehicle at a loud volume while keeping their windows down.

I swear those [EXPLICITIVE]s do it just to try and force their awful hip-hop down the throats of us utility workers.
