What would your starter be?

Chimchar! He was my first ever Pokemon and will forever be my favorite! A firery, ninja- monkey thing is also pretty cool. The typing is awesome, also.

Totodile, definitely. He looks the best of all the starters and is definitely the best water starter, both in-game and competitively prior to XY, when Greninja took that spot.

If not, I'm also fine with Treecko or Turtwig.

I'm trying to think what would be most useful to me and not just my favorite. But my favorite would be pretty useful to me so I'm going to have to stick with bulbasaur.

[PokeCommunity.com] What would your starter be?

As much as I love the Froakie family competitively, Having a Turtwig in the real world would be so much more practical. I mean, who could resist free shelter on its back when it fully evolves? :D

By Gen I would have to pick:

1 - Charmander (my # pick out of all Gens)
2 - Totodile
3 - Treecko? (I really hate this Gen)
4 - Piplup
5 - Snivy
6 - Froakie

I suppose to be like a normal person in the Pokémon world that doesn't get starter specifics as their first I would pick......

Nidoran(M)!!!!!!!!!!

Ditto is my favorite but it's never early game so Nidoran makes sense.

By gen is:

I.Charmander
II.Cyndaquil
III.Treecko
IV.Chimchar
V.Snivy
VI.Froakie

The favorite is probably Snivy, just because overrall design and i really like it. (Could have been Froakie if i had a 3DS im sure)

By Generations it woul be-:

|- Charmander (Yeah Probably Strongest of all)

||- Totodile (Yeah because of its design)

|||- Treecko (Razor Leaf)

|V- Turtwig (I liked it very much)

V- Probably Snivy (Never played Gen V though)

V|- Probably Froakie (Never played Gen V| also)

Hey Congrates me! I completed 100 Post! yay! ^_^

Which Pokemon would be your first?

Not necessarily a starter. Say if Pokemon were real; no stats, no natures, EVs, or any of that nonsense. What would you want to start your journey with? A pokemon given to you? Do you catch your first one?

Also, what would you want to be? Pokemon master? Researcher? Contestant? Or even an outlaw?

I'd look high and low to start with a Growlithe. He'd be akin to Pikachu to me...'cept he'd evolve into a fabulous Arcanine when the time came. Absolutely be a trainer and travel. Then retire as a Gym Leader or researcher.

What about you? (Try to stick with 1st evolutions!)

My favorite Pokemon is Beedrill, so I'd start with a Weedle. I imagine they aren't very hard to find either, I bet I could find one in my own backyard. Weedle is so cute to me, I'd love to one as a starting Pokemon. <3 bug types. I would probably specialize in them too.

When it would come time for my adventure to start I would totally place a special order with the closest professor to get me a smeargle. In my opinion, I would want nothing else to start a journey with.

I'd have to say that since I reside in California, which is warm-weather with beaches and sea, it'd be smart to start out with a water type. That said, I'd probably choose Squirtle.

Ideally, if I lived in a colder, more mountainous area like Montana (my dream home), I'd take an ice type like Lapras.

Or I could choose Porygon who would probably train the same under any conditions.

In the beginning, back when social realities weren't present, I dreamed of venturing the world with a tough little Sandshrew. I feel in love with him back in season 1 of Pokemon where Ash encounters a random gym with a trainer and his team of 'mons would train vigorously and who's main partner was a Sandshrew.

He pulled off a Fissure, splitting the battlefield in two... Instant love.

Hard to pick!! I would go with my all time favorite Totodile and get him to Ferraligator, then hunt an eevee to get umbreon. I'd like to be a pokemon master to be a ghost gym leader. (I know ferrakigatr and umbreon??)

Pretty off topic here but i saw a thread about possible pokecommunity league, and I'd like to work up to be a ghost gym leader, already have a 3-4 pokemon team :-)

Banette (with mega-stone)
Aegislash
Gengar
Chandelure

I love all types but if i were to be a gym leader ^ would be my team. Trainer is another thing. Like i mentioned above, start with Totodile and search for eevee!!

I'd start off with Combee. Male or female, doesn't matter, it would still wreck even if he couldn't evolve. And in the perilous journey that lay ahead (as a Pokemon trainer), Combee would be able to gather Honey so we wouldn't starve to death.

Kind of hard, living in the Pacific Northwest (USA):

My first natural choice goes with Patrat, the animal its based on lives all over North America, finding one wouldn't be to hard, trying to catch one would be a problem...

I'll go with Mienfoo, as they are based on weasels (just love them) they also live all over North America - trying to catch one isn't the hard part, it would be finding them - I know that weasels are very quiet, sneaky, fit into small spaces, and are very intelligent.... I would still search for months high and low, rain-snow-or-sunshine just to find one.

Once I get to be friends with Mienfoo - we will hunt down a Patrat... and 4 other Pokemon I like that would live in the Pacific Northwest (otters Buizel, raccoons Zigzagoon)

once I get my full team of 6 I would probably be like a researcher/doctor/scientist and just try to learn and study other Pokemon the wild, I would probably spend my entire life near the woods. I would either try to buy a cabin in the woods or a house closest to the wild as possible

Magnezone. It's basically a magnet saucer that can take hits like a boss. I'd be able to fly around on it without the HM for it, and it's a strong attacker. It would be willing to take attacks for me, in return I would give it lots of care...though, I don't know how Magnezones eat. I'd probably just wanna be a Pokemon Trainer specialising in Electric-types, or defensive Pokemon.
