I used to deal with reports so I definitely do report things haha! Why? Because I know much help they can be weeding out the good stuff from the yucky stuff.
I did a lot back when I was a member and even when I was a moderator because of how helpful reports are. Since I've been promoted, I haven't really used the report button since I can just deal with it myself, but that doesn't mean I will never use it because I am not always sure on some things.
It's rare that stuff needs to be reported around here, because it's usually gone before it even needs reporting, so that's always nice. But if stuff seems to have been missed, I do send a report.
Not recently, but I have, especially for obvious rule breaks. If I didn't then who would? From what I remember it seems like only a small number of members (usually the regulars) actually report things so you can't expect that something is always going to get reported or noticed quickly.
I certainly report things that I come across when I'm online; and manage to catch things sometimes as they come in on the RSS feed; especially spammy posts from bots and the like; which I don't hesitate to report.
I may not always be able to catch things quickly; but you can bet if it's in my feed and it's spam I'm going to check it out and see if it's still present on PC. If it is; I'll usually drop a report on it to speed things along as soon as a staff member pops on.
Mostly because I wanted to help out the mods at the time by bringing things to their attention, so anything I saw breaking rules...boop, there goes a report. So many reports from me.
