I have a DS Lite, from 2009 or 2010. So it's only 5 years old max. Actually maybe my Wii is the oldest... Wii Sports is still fun :P Been on emulators for a whiiile though :P

I still own my N64 console, which I got a hold of when I was about eight or so. Unfortunately, though, it no longer works; somehow, water got inside of it, which winded up screwing up the system. :( I have my GBA SP, too, and also my GameCube and Wii.

I still have a Gameboy Advance, GBA SP, a DS and DS lite and all 4 still work. I'm not sure if I still have my old Gameboy Color somewhere, I highly doubt it.

I still have my old GBC that still works, I love that green beauty, Other than that probably my XBOX is the other longest standing console that hasn't been broken by one of my younger siblings.

Nope, don't really like Capcom tbh ^^;. Plus I probably was asleep at that time haha.

I do watch a lot of big StarCraft II tournaments however, though some things do disgust me in them :p

It's a Street Fighter league, I think. Anyway, unfortunately, I haven't watched it; I'm just not such a huge fan of Street Fighter. :( I did play it before, but I just couldn't get into the series as much. If it were Nintendo or Sony, though, featuring either SSB or PlayStation All-Stars, then I definitely would have tuned into the show.

They were playing Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Injustice, etc. as well... also nobody would watch a Playstation All Stars tournament LOL

It was really good though. Tekken finals was my favorite. Now let's put it on EVO instead of ♥♥♥♥ing Injustice...

I'm with you on that. Street Fighter was a series that I tried but I never was very good with getting button combos to work. A Super Smash Bros - especially Melee - tournament would be awesome to use.

Speaking of which, what are y'all's favorite characters to play as in Super Smash (can be across any game)?

I have played as a few, cause I don't own a Wii myself and always played the game at a friends house, but I really am good as Meta Knight and I adore him. We mostly played the story though xP

I stick with DK and Captain Falcon in 64 and Melee, but completely all over Wario and Snake in Brawl.

Also you don't do combos in a Street Fighter that isn't Third Strike....

To be honest though I liked the losers finals (the match before this) better. It was SO close and clutch.

I used to be SO good with Ice Climbers back on Melee; and not just casual-style 'Ice Climbers', I mean advanced ticks with the Ice Climbers, with the double throw trick - that was awesome. <3

Eh, do you guys prefer the Original, Melee or Brawl? I like them both, but.. I'm sliding more towards Melee.

As for SSB characters, ive always liked Ness/Lucas the best for some reason :)
Ive never owned a SSB game though, so i played at friends house only and never got to practise at home :P

My bias is toward Melee simply because of Mewtwo, but Brawl is probably more balanced overall for casual players of the game like myself.

Meta Knight is OP even to casuals. At least the best characters in Melee take skills to use.

Since I haven't been console gamer for long, it has to be PSP I have for 2 years.

In the original I just kinda used whoever. In Melee I mainly used Luigi, Mewtwo, and Link. In Brawl its Luigi, Ike, Lucario, and Marth. And some Meta Knight and Samus. I do give the other characters a spin every now and then. Or I did, anyway. I hardly play Smash Bros anymore.


And is Meta Knight really that OP? I wouldn't know, I've hardly ever played against other people.

One of the fastest and mobile character in the game.
Loads of moves with very high priority, range and speed.
Strong as all hell despite appearances.
Hard to hit due to small hitbox and mobility, hard to KO in general due to having many options after knockback.
Positive match up against ALL characters. (That means he has an immediate advantage against any one.)
He has weaknesses albeit very negligible ones.

He's broken to the point he got banned for a short while. He got unbanned because it's been decided that he is beatable unlike ST Akuma, but he's still far too ridiculous.
