how do you handle compliments?

I think I would win an award for "Most Awkward Compliment Receiver" if there ever was one. I just don't know how to respond lol.

I enjoy compliments even if I often doubt their validity. So I graciously accept and generally reply with one.

I've sometimes said "thanks, I know!" without thinking :B

Other times I automatically go "lol no you're too kind that's not true" even if I sometimes believe them. Silly autoresponses :V

I take most compliments well! I don't really care for forced compliments though

It's not in my nature to take compliments well, but I've trained myself to say thank you when I get them because there's no reason not to except my own awkwardness and it can mean a lot to the other person.

Still working on reciprocal complimenting though.

I blush like mad, laugh, and say thank you. Though the amount of blushing and laughing depends on the compliment itself (obvs I'm not gonna get all bashful if you like my shoes or something).

Recently I been able to accept compliments easily.
If someone says " I like your makeup/clothes " ex I smile and tell them thanks and then compliment them.
I like compliments not in the " Oh I feel so much more better then everyone else way" but they make me feel good.

Depends on the compliment. Some like, "Oh I like your clothes" I smiled and say thanks. Others like, "Oh wow your story is good" that takes me off guard moreso as I tend to have self doubt on my works. Still, I appreciate every compliment I get.
