I never really found the need to use legendary Pokemon unless it was for competitive battling. If I do use any, it's always the ones that are allowed to enter the battle frontier like Latios and Heatran.

I've always found the friendship checker useful. I guess I can call it my favorite considering I don't really use the others.

Any move that causes you to flinch because the cpu will keep spamming it and make you flinch like five times in a row or until you need to use a full restore or something but then they just use the move again and the flinching continues.

When I first played Pearl I picked Chimchar and hated it. In Platinum I picked Torterra and it's one of the strongest Pokemon I have.

It was fun when all of my friends used to play DP but since everyone moved on to HG/SS the Sinnoh underground has become a lonely place. Looking for the fossils in Platinum is still pretty addicting though.

I gotta go with Drake too because he looks like a more experienced trainer plus he has a Salamence and Salamence is better than Dragonite in my opinion.

I've always really liked fire blast. I just always though it's animation was very creative and it hasn't changed since it was introduced way back in gen.1.

Taking a look at Platinum my highest leveled Pokemon is my lv.96 Torterra. On Pearl my strongest is a lv.86 Yanmega and on Diamond it's a lv.100 Scizor.

While I have beaten Brock with only Pikachu before(using double team 6 times then tail whip 6 times then keep spamming quick attack) there has been times where I just get myself a Butterfree and hope I get lucky with confusion.

When I run away, it's either because I'm in a rush or it's just a pointless battle. If I run into something that will get me some decent exp. I'll never run away.

Technician on my Scizor and Ampibom is definitely what I value the most. I'm also quite fond of Intimidate and Motor Drive in certain situations.

For the sake of completing my Pokedex, I just catch every new thing I run into and if I don't plan on using it or if it has a terrible nature, I'll just dump it in the PC and it'll more than likely never see the light of day again.

The only gym leader I've lost to up to this point was Misty. I was training some lower leveled(mid 40's) Pokemon and decided to challenge her gym. I almost won but her Starmie got the best of me. I also lost to Sabrina in the rematch if that counts.
