"Kitten Cannon! is a 2005 game by BurstStudio. It is widely credited with popularizing the "Toss" genre on Newgrounds. Kitten Cannon! is somewhat similar to Toss the Turtle, but is older and significantly less developed. Players control a cannon that shoots a kitten. They can change the angle of the cannon's barrel, which can be changed using the up and down arrow keys, and the power of the cannon."

This is El Héroe Oscuro. He's been heralded as the champion of video games. Think you have what it takes to take the title from him? Each week, he will be competing against you for the highest score. What will you get if you beat his score? A raffle ticket that at the end of every 5 week cycle will enter you into a chance to win a $25 Supporter Rank or video game gift card of your choice. The more times you beat him, the more raffle tickets you get and the better chance you have of winning the prize. But don't take him lightly: he's pretty damn good at video games...

I forgot to vote on last week's poll, but I do prefer games that involve more skill like Tetris than ones like this. :P If there's more to it than controlling the power and angle of a firing cannon, I don't think I get it 'cause this was more or less sheer luck.

Although this game is kinda fun. I think that this game is very poorly suited for a year of gaming challenge like this since it's almost all luck and no skill.

Yeah, you guys are right. The game in itself is more luck based than anything. I'm going to take that into account for the future so y'all can actually test yourselves in these challenges like Tetris.

As stated prior, I'll be playing in these challenges for now on. Every 5th week a raffle will be done and a winner will be picked to win a $25 Supporter rank or video game gift card of their choosing. Don't mind me, just posting the greatest Kitten Cannon score of all time.

I literally had my kitten hit 5 TNTs + one of the floating canisters in a row, and I think it topped out around ~570 ft. in the air. I hadn't done any better than 1600 ft. before that final run, so I'm completely shocked at how much I surpassed my other scores.

EDIT: Aaaand I didn't realize that the cutoff was EST and not PST, so I missed out by just 1 minute, haha. Still, even if it doesn't end up counting, I don't think anyone's gonna beat that score.
