Ghost Town: A Catmanfia
"Boo! Ha, did I scare you? No? Ah man... Anywho, Halloween is coming up in... *checks watch* ...about 22 days or so? I guess we might as well celebrate with a little game. What kind of game you might ask? Well, I'll tell you right now..."
Welcome everyone to the town of Fantasia, known to most in the land as the Ghost Town. In this Mafia, you'll be playing mafia how you would normally play it, but with two twists.
- Every day, instead of lynching one person, you'd lynch two! The two people with the most amount of votes counted against them will both have a chance of being the one who's actually lynched. I will jam their names into an RNG, and the name that comes out is the one who is lynched. And that brings me to the next twist...
- I will be the only one who knows when a player dies! "How does that work?" is what you're probably thinking. The one who dies will remain in the game as a Phantom. The Phantom's items will not work, and all votes they issue out will not count, because, well, you know, they're ghosts.
Roles
Roles shouldn't be too complicated, as there are only three!
The Villagers: You're just the average villagers, it's pretty self explanatory. You guys win if all the Mafia are killed.
The Mafia: You're the same as a Villager, except for the fact that you and your peers are the minority, and you get access to a fancy Discord chat room! Yay for you! You win once you outnumber all of the Villagers.
The Zombie: The stirring of the ghosts have awoken you, and you're out for blood! You can infect someone every Night Phase, transforming them into a Zombie as well! You win if you and your minions outnumber the rest of the living. Be wary, for Zombies and their minions don't necessarily have souls, so when they're lynched, they're dead for good. Kaput. No more posting. If the Zombie dies, all of its minions die with it.
Instead of special abilities given to different roles, you get items! These items will be not be revealed to the public until they are used in-game. I will assign these items during N1.
Rules
- The town of Fantasia is known for being haunted around this time of year, so no outsiders really likes to be there when the ghosts start roaming about. As such, no one should discuss this game with anyone outside of this thread. Doing so will result in an immediate BANISHMENT.
- You cannot abstain from a lynch.
- If you miss one lynch, you become a Phantom. If you miss two, then you are BANISHED to the Underworld (you'll be kicked out of the game).
- And you know, the average Underground/PokéCommunity Rules.
