I can think of one thing that I was just reminded of today; I don't like the extreme heat as much as I used to as a kid, or even 5 years ago. I would go outside and sit in the sun with the sunscreen on and tan up all Summer. Today I just wanted to swim and then be under the umbrella. Cold is much more fun for me now.

i used to really, really like anime but i'm not too into it now. i'm trying to get back into it now though. i also used to really like saturday morning cartoons but i never get up at the ungodly hour they air them at anymore. hmmmm. i also used to really like bratz, but not as much anymore. i can't think of anything else besides small obsessions i used to have which i don't count.

Although tbh this applies to pretty much everything in life. When you're a kid you're blissfully ignorant of just how shit the world really is. It all just gets worse. Hard to like anything as much, really. Or at all, even.

The idea of graduation. Being young it's all like "yeah, I'll be free from education!" but then you get to it and it's just become "well crap, I haven't properly figured myself out". Right now I'm at the tail end of a diploma I don't care about and atop a mountain of stupid regrets. Always fun.

I'm jealous of people with well thought-out paths after school...wish I took the time instead of going "screw it, HSC here I come".

Sesame Street. I still like Elmo, but I just don't care much for the show because it's changed soooooooooooo much since the time I used to watch it. The only other character I like besides Elmo is Julia. She's an autistic muppet, and she's super cute. <3 I also have to vouch for my previous music tastes as a kid too. I used to be into the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls back then... but not so much now lol. Then, there's Digimon. I used to be obsessed with Digimon when I first came here because I was form a Digimon forum. I'm not as into Digimon as I used to be ages ago. Same goes for the original Beyblade (before they came out with the newest versions without Tyson & friends).

I was the weird anime kid when I was in primary school as I often wore cat ears to class (might be because Tokyo Mew Mew was the best thing I had ever seen at that time). I have so many cat ear headbands yet nowadays I don't really like wearing them anymore. All kinds of anime stuff also interested me so much when I was 10-12.

Being with friends also used to be my favorite thing ever when I was a kid but nowadays I appreciate my own peace more. Not that I wouldn't like seeing friends now, I just ended up isolating myself from others whenever I had free time and now I'm not completely sure how to friends anymore.

On a deeper note, I used to get influenced way too easily. I didn't play Pokemon for years just because I was told that it was lame in middle school. Looking back, it's amazing how ridiculous I used to be. I let no one dictate my thoughts or actions now.
