I'm pretty much on and off. I lean towards posting before bed, but sometimes I get a week when I just feel like browsing and don't want to post. Yeah I'm about to request the deletion. I never used it. My only posts were from 2015 when I wanted to participate in the challenges forum. I would like to post more, but sometimes I feel like I run out of threads i'm interested in. Forum games remain pretty active so it's been my go-to.

Drastic is a great emulator. Just a few years ago it felt so hard to find a way to reliably emulate DS games. Too bad there's not a decent N64 emulator. They always seem to have graphical issues. To be honest pokemon is one of those things I can't handle playing for long. After about an hour, the slower pace of it catches up to me and I get tired. I'm curious to how emulators will be doing 7 or 8 years down the line. Like will people be reliably emulating PS3 or PS4 games on phones? Technology advances quickly.

If I had any technical skill I would like to make a rom hack like that. However I don't have any. I did toy around with map and gym editors before, but to keep up with modern rom hacks it seems you need to know some form of scripting.

I got a bunch of restaurant giftcards, because I love to go out for food. Also a $100 mastercard gift card. (Which I'm already down to $54). I'm going to get another new bike...even though there's already 3 in the garage. I've really gotten into biking over the last couple weeks.

I'm peculiar about class zoom meetings. I'd rather just do them all on my phone than a laptop. No real reason, just strangely more comfortable doing them that way.

I just looked at my post count and realized I'm just nearing 4,000. I'm awfully slow. Maybe by the end of 2021 I'll hit 5,000. To be honest I usually forget it exists. I had an account a few years ago for the same reason, but actually when I decided to become a regular poster I just made this one. I might request that accounts deletion. It only has a couple posts but I feel awkward just knowing it exists. Especially since this place is so strict about the one account rule.

Yeah better to just get a new phone. My only rule is "Is this phone good enough to run drastic" (The DS emulator). If it is then I consider it a worth while phone. But the battery is actually becoming an annoyance and I haven't even wanted to touch the phone anymore.

I wish pokemon games had difficulty options. Maybe an "extreme" option where the A.I plays on switch and your forced on set.

Still looks kinda dark. As far as I can tell, there's nothing changing the text color so it's inheriting the default grey.

I messed with the inspect options and I think that changing those colors to a light-ish grey like #7d7d7d should do the trick.

Yeah, you missed me? Why I got banned was because of a user that I am now currently ignoring and want nothing to do with, won't delve too much about it. You can definitely expect me to learn my lesson and ignore users like them.

You mentioned wanting tips for making the flair text more clear on the Ban thread, so ...

There are basically three main options that I can think of: making the text color lighter, making the background color lighter or adding a light shadow (yes, I do realize it sounds dumb) to the text.

The property for the last is of the form:

text-shadow: right-offset bottom-offset blur-radius color;

As a general rule, you want the contrast ratio as calculated by this websiteto be at least 4.5:1, as that's the considered the minimum for accessibility purposes.

Unfortunately it won't work if the post in a closed thread, and of course won't quite help for flairs. But still, a very handy feature.

Do you know if there's a centralized thread for CSS tips and questions? I think it'd be very handy.

Oh wow you got a community supporter status. And a cool new avatar. You love to see it. Also I noticed you joined in 2013, and I was thinking "wait really" because for some reason I kept thinking you joined this year.

Starting Gen 8, exp all is a permanent feature. Ultra Sun/Moon were about on par in difficulty with Platinum for me. (With it on). Those games actually balance around the exp share, so if you take that off you can quickly find yourself getting stomped.

Yeah I need a new phone. Radical Red might be on halt because this thing goes from 100% to 10% in like 30 minutes. I could just play it on a charger but the entire appeal of playing on a phone is portability. I love that the A.I in Radical Red switches out. That's my biggest problem with Pokemon games. It doesn't matter if I'm on switch or set because I still seem to be the only trainer in the universe who can recall a pokemon.

I'm still planning to build one, I'm just saving the money to do so :) At some point, maybe mid-2021, I'll be able to purchase the parts :)

Hmm, yeah, I just took a huge dive into those parts you recommended, and whoo! If you add it all up, phew.. almost makes me want to just buy a pre-built PC.

I'll have to look at these for a bit and think on them.
