  • Do you like where you live? If yes, what do you love most about your location? If no, why do you want to move? If you could move someplace else, where would you like to live instead?

For me, I like living in Arizona. I have three very important people who live here. Plus, I also have my anime convention to look forward to as well. Oh, and we have the Grand Canyon as well! I've only been there twice since we moved here. It's still the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen next to Acadia. <3

However though, if I could live elsewhere... I would want to live in Japan. If not there, then maybe move back to Maine again. It really depends though. *shrug*

I don't hate where I live, but I am kinda tired and bored of it. Simply put there isn't much to do in Alabama! Ideally I'd like to move but I'm not in the situation to do so right now. Hopefully in the future I can move to either New York or Florida as those are my 2 favorite states haha

  • I'm happy with living in the Sydney area, although I live in what is probably one of the most populated Indigenous Australian communities in the entire country, one that's pretty infamous if you've ever heard of it because there was a pretty bad riot there in 2004. Back in 2006 my unit complex was attacked and I had to go out in a mass evacuation because of the fire, but since then there has been no real nasty attacks.

The pros of where I live is that I have easy access to the city given I live only 15-20 minutes away, the cons are definitely the occasional fighting though. I've also lived in the area for what has been 16 years now so moving would not be easy for me to adjust to again.

I live in Argentina, and I really dislike it. The only thing that I like from here is the food. I don't like how things work here, it doesn't fit me at all. Also, it's really hard to live here, it doesn't matter if you like it or not. It's hard.

I don't know where I could move, If I could move right now, maybe to the US or UK since I only know Spanish or English.

Spain would be a good choice too!

Nope, I don't like living here. Living in the DC area all your life gets boring. I'm in Virginia right now and it's even worse. I guess I'm just tired of the city life and busy life, I wish I could live in some nice beach town someday. Or to go to South America and live with my family.

There's nothing I love about this place anymore besides maybe the convenience of a lot of things and not having to drive 20 miles to get somewhere I suppose.

  • I'm okay with where I currently live (Pennsylvania). It was actually the place I moved to in order to get away from the place I was unhappy with! (I was in Georgia, grew up there, but there really wasn't much going on where I lived. Smaller town. Extremely boring to me.)

I like that there's actually stuff to do around here if I desire (especially if I don't mind going into the city proper) - oh, and that there are actually stores within walking distance. If I didn't have access to a car before, I was pretty much out of luck because there was no way I was easily walking to anywhere. Here, though, if I want something...well, the main street is like two minutes away by foot. How convenient!

Never actually thought of where I might want to go if I were to move. Nothing really grabs my interest at the moment.

I'm pretty neutral with Michigan, honestly. I do like it because I mean hell, it's home, and cost of living is cheap af so that's pretty nice. On the flip side though, there isn't much to do unless you're willing to travel quite a bit, and it's just so "meh" lol.

  • I'm content right now, but idealistically I'd like to start travelling anytime now. Where I live isn't the worst, then again there's so many other areas that I'd prefer to be living i.e Australia.

We've lived in public housing, so it could be worse. I hate this town.

If no, why do you want to move?
Because this town is just ghetto. You see people just walking around and loitering during work hours wearing absurd clothing and walking like the duck from the McDonald's TV show. It's just flat out stupid, and it drives property values down which is why no one of a higher class than them lives here. Folks like that keep it poor.

If you could move someplace else, where would you like to live instead?
Realistically I'd like to move to Cary, which is northwest of here across Raleigh. It's a nice part of town where people have dignity at least publically, and there are so many lovely amenities around to keep yourself entertained. Garner is boring af

  • Used to live in Orillia, ON. There's a dump on the lake, tap water sucks, garbage everywhere, drugs... largest employer was the casino on the reserve. Downtown became a ghost town after Walmart came. Transit is always late and the weather in winter is horrible due to all the lakes.

I live in Ottawa, ON now for school, but it's a very nice city and I like it much. What's nice is that of all my family members who have been raised and return to Orillia, ON, I don't plan to go back lol It's a dark hole that is very difficult to get out of. Once you're there, you feel trapped. It's also hard just to leave to begin with if you're short on resources because the social programs there are piss poor. It's like the government purposefully wants to keep all the mentally ill, old and drugged-up alchies in one spot as to not "infect" other nicer cities around it, like Owen Sound, ON.

Anyway :pink_tongue: Much better off o'er here.

I hate where I live now. Tennessee besides Nashville is a snoozefest, but I am moving to Alabama In a week and a half, 2 weeks. I am sorta meh about moving to the middle of nowhere. But, I guess I won't know if I like it there till I move.

  • I'm pretty happy here living in Welly, NZ. Right now I can't really think of anywhere else that I want to move besides moving closer to town, but either way it is pretty easy to get from place to place even without a car.
Maybe I've just traveled too much for myself in my life and I just want to stick here for now.

  • I hate Indiana. There is literally nothing here. The only reason I ended up staying is because I have friends here but lately I've really been thinking that I should have moved with my dad to Colorado. If I could move anywhere though I'd choose either Maine, California, or somewhere in Canada. I really like warm weather but Maine is just so nice, and I know a lot of people that live up in Canada from my years of internet so that would also be a good choice...but I'd probably try California first.

  • I live in Pennsylvania, and...well, I won't say I hate it, but it could be better. There are decent things in walking distance from home, and while i'm at college I can take the bus to various places to eat or shop. However, at the same time, when i'm home at my parents' house, I feel like there's not much I get to do anymore.

But what they're going through right now with snow is apparently some pretty dreadful stuff, and I can assure you i'll be sad when I leave Florida come Friday. For that matter - and I swear i'm not making this up - I actually wouldn't mind living here. My parents have always briefly talked about wanting to move somewhere nicer than in PA once i'm no longer living with them, as sometimes they don't like the cold. Granted, there haven't been too many locations i've really gotten the chance to visit (I went to Chicago last August, though) but after a while this has just become something for me to get accustomed to for early year vacationing. It's a far sight, but still.

  • New York City is a double edged sword. In some ways, I love the city, but in others, I absolutely hate it. My main hate has to do with two things: the trash transportation system that is the New York City Subway, as well as the disgusting winter weather (and sometimes summer). If I'm being 100% honest, the transportation system is the biggest deal breaker. Things would be so much better if I actually lived in Manhattan. If I ever get rich enough, I'll move right into the city. Else, I'm off to the west coast (y)

  • I am very neutral about where I live! on one hand, this town's kinda boring and you'd have to go a fair distance in order to really find a Bustling Social Scene or anything but I've come to love a lot of the people here and the lifestyle and etc.

  • Imperial County is literally THE worst place to be in California. If you have to move there someday, I wish you all the best, and say hi to the god awful residents for me.

I'm finally moving away in a week and a half to Houston, TX. It's going to be a huge transition for me, seeing that I've been living in this trash town for several years due to family issues. And I'm finally leaving this trash town for an opportunity that I could not pass up. There is nothing to do here, and medical care is trash here too. You have to travel to San Diego if you want to get your appendix removed, or have a baby.

Bring it on, Houston. I can't wait for big city life. It's got all I want.

I absolutely HATE the town that I live in. It is super small, the job market sucks, there is no such thing as "entertainment" here--unless you count the movie theater or bowling alley, which considering they know they are the only 2 things to do around here essentially, are SUPER expensive. I work at the latter and they sell a hamburger for like $10 dollars. A normal sized hamburger with no frills. From frozen. This place is a shining example of all that is wrong with the town where I live.

  • I really like it where I live to be honest. I'm in a decent-enough suburb without too many losers, it looks nice, I'm pretty central to shops etc and the city isn't even that far away really. I will say though, my city has some of the worst property and rent prices in the world which will be a pain when I eventually move out and get my own place.
