In this game, the Doves aka Humans will be the uninformed majority (innocent) and the Aogiri aka the main faction of Ghouls will be the informed minority (mafia). There will also be third party roles that have unique win-conditions.

Doves
Doctor: Equipped with advanced medical technology and a mind as sharp as a scalpel, the Doctor can bring anyone dangling on the brink of death back to life.

Investigator: Gifted with an analytical eye and experience from Cochlea, the Investigator has worked against the most feared and dangerous ghouls, decoding their modus operandi. Every night they are able to determine the true identity of a person each night.

Vigilante: Taking the law into their own hands, the Vigilante sets out at night to kill whoever they suspect to be a Ghoul, wielding their trusty quinque.

Mayor: Born with charisma and the gift of the gab, the Mayor has been able to overcome sticky situations. When the townspeople are about to lynch him on grounds of suspicion, he is able to persuade the people to consider otherwise, directing their attention to someone of greater suspicion than him.

Spy: Master of stealth, the Spy keeps a close eye on the residence of their quarry, noting down all activity that occurred throughout the night.

Veteran: Retired from active duty in the CCG, the Veteran has experience and anti-ghoul tactical knowledge under their belt, as well as a hardened soul. However, past memories of his comrades' death may occasionally haunt him in the night. Paranoia then drives him to set up military-grade anti-ghoul traps all over his house. Any unfortunate ghoul (or human) to visit him in the dead of the night would be met with a quinque to the face.

Escort: A nocturnal professional of seduction and charm, they may choose to roleblock a player every night, which prevents them from using their night actions. However, should the Binge Eater be roleblocked, the Escort would be devoured in an instance.

Quinque Smith: The best way to kill a ghoul is to use a ghoul's most powerful asset against them – their kagunes. Using captured ghouls in Cochlea as specimens, the Quinque Smith creates quinques, enhanced through selective combination of various kagunes, capable of felling a ghoul in one blow.

Arata Smith: Ever since the CCG captured Arata Kirishima, they have harvested his kakuja to synthesise auto-equipping full-body armor that takes more than one blow from a ghoul's kagune for it be broken. The Arata Smith specializes in their manufacture and distribution to every active Dove.

Aogiri
One-Eyed King: As the head of the ghoul faction, the One-Eyed King's name strikes cold fear into the hearts of any citizen and most of the CCG. It lurks in the shadows, where its true identity cannot be gleaned, overseeing all ghoul activity in Aogiri.

Noro: At the right hand of the One-Eyed King, Noro is a ghoul of immeasurable strength, whose emotionless visage unnerves even the most hardened dove, with a high regeneration rate that makes him quite difficult to take down. His kagune is a giant maw that can crush anything.

Tatara: The other executive ghoul who answers only to the One-Eyed King, Tatara is the one who is in charge of most of Aogiri's schemes and machinations. Master of deception, he has thrown countless CCG members off the trail. His presence is the reason why doves do not trust each other.

Black Rabbit: Swift and silent, the Black Rabbit leaves behind incriminating evidence at their target's place, ensuring that their target becomes a scapegoat for Aogiri.

Jason: A sadistic beast, Jason loves to torture his victims which he sees as 'toys' in his 'playhouse'. Anything that oozes blood and screams in pain is good enough to become his playthings.

Prof. Kanou: The only human to be allied with Aogiri Tree. In the day, Prof. Kanou dons his clean white lab coat, as a surgeon working at a local hospital. When night falls, the mask dissolves, and the mad scientist is released. Fueled by his desire to free humanity from its birdcage, Prof. Kanou works to create artificial ghouls out of humans.

Unaffiliated
The Binge Eater: A serial killer with an insatiable bloodlust, the Binge Eater stalks a prey every night and devours them by daybreak.

The Gourmet: Obsessed on hunting down the one-eyed ghoul with a tantalizingly unique scent, the Gourmet thinks they have found who they were looking for. They will stop at nothing to have the crowd lynch the "one-eyed ghoul"; so that he can enjoy a delectable main dish that's simply très bien!

The Clown: Nobody knows what goes on within its head. Filled with incoherent mumblings and an eerie smile, the Clown is extremely suicidal and will stop at nothing to be lynched. Upon lynching, the Clown's ghost takes revenge on someone who contributed in the lynching, driving them insane to the point of suicide.
