25 and up

How are y'all handling the slide into back pains and Grey's Anatomy

I bought a memory foam mattress to help with my dreadful aches. It certainly helps for the most part but I still feel a lot of pain when sitting up :s

When I first started thinking of a response to this thread, I thought - wow I'm sure lucky I haven't had back pain.

...then I remembered the few days in November when I was actually bed ridden due to intense back pain for like 3 or 4 days.

Nursing hangovers also isn't fun. Going out and drinking is still very fun, but I'm just so useless the day after.

Also I actually am so incredibly bitter that Grey's Anatomy is still on the air when Desperate Housewives has been off for like almost 7 years now. Let it die, Shonda!

Side bar - imagine Desperate Housewives is still on in 2019, but instead of Edie dying off, Susan died off.

Edit: my backs kinda hurting now

OMG the back pains. Although I think they're associated with my feet problems, which is a whole 'nother layer of pain (but much more chronic) that makes it hard for me to do anything. A few weeks ago my lower back randomly started hurting really badly, though, and whereas in between the last time my back hurt and now I thought "That's nothing compared to the pain of my feet" it was horrible. My feet weren't hurting too bad during this time (thank goodness, I would have been completely out of commission otherwise), but I was limping because of my back, and even moving around anywhere - sitting down, walking, in bed, etc. hurt so bad.

Oh, to go back a couple of years when none of this bothered me would be so nice.

On aches the biggest thing is trying to get to sleep. I get sore quite easily lying down in the same position for a long time.

Also I don't let myself have caffeine after a certain time in the day anymore.

I think overall I'm a fairly healthy and active 27 year old though... Well my diet could be a lot better.

I've been sick since I was 21, so it's all the same for me, sadly.

I've got intermittent muscular based back pain and its my own fault for being 80 pounds overweight and also because I was doing a fair bit of bending over to build a display case one day and then sat in a no-back chair most of the day after finishing it.

It's not as frequent or as intense now over two years after inducing it as it was for basically the 8 months following but it still comes and goes on and off.

my dumb ass just moved about 5 yards of mulch around my garden so, yeah, it freaking hurts.

i gained a lot of weight, want to die more often, have been struggling to find a job, and i haven't had health insurance since august so i'd say i'm growing into a proper millennial.

I def notice the creaks in my bones when I wake up and I no longer can drink crazily without feeling like death the next day.

Water is the answer y'all

I came into this thread to complain about how my knees hurt when the weather changes but then I remember they've done that since I was 12 and then chronic pain/illness has been a constant since 16 so. Basically my body has always thought it was 30 and acted accordingly so I guess maybe now it's just nice to finally catch up to it and feel my age.

... :(
